I've got 13 of these things now in various forms (DVR, bullet, dome, indoor/outdoor, POE/Wifi... this was my first with PTZ. It's a solid feeling design, great picture, easy controls and for once I needed a little help getting it going. The support was super responsive and helpful Grace.C took care of everything. I highly recommend this brand and this item.

I love the clear day and night picture. My first camera had some green glitches while recording but the support team got right back to me and sending a new camera. I did buy a second camera for my back yard. I enjoy getting text messages all day long alerting me of movement. I'm looking forward to finding out what kind of animal keeps digging under my fence

This camera packs a lot of great features into a compact, convenient, and easy-to-use package.The set-up instructions were easy to follow and accurate. The Amcrest app includes a convenient QR code scanner so you don't have to transcribe and input a long serial number if you don't want to.The best part of the camera is picture quality, which I'd say is great. Two-way audio communication is included, and picture and audio lag are minimal. You can take a snapshot of video if you want to preserve an individual frame on the fly, and you can also record a video stream as it comes onto your phone. Cloud storage and USB storage are also available, which is a nice feature. An wide 90° viewing angle, as well as remote pan/tilt and digital zoom, allow you to cover more ground. You can view the camera through an app on your phone. Works with Alexa through Amcrest Cloud.Wall mounting hardware is included. Mounting the camera is also easy. It's actually one of the best designs I've seen.Overall for the price you get a very good image quality camera.

I bought 3 and one of them did not work.The camera often times out quickly when viewing in browser and you have to log in again.It is difficult to position the view where you want it.90 degree view is good for close up objects, but more than 15-20 feet objects appear tiny.What they call the zoom button is a joke. Not sure what it is even supposed to do, but zoom ain't it.The picture is pretty good, though.

This camera looks like many of the other inexpensive cameras you'll see, and uses very similar hardware, but the software in the Amcrest is vastly better.The Amcrest camera software supports RTSP and ONVIF. It works with Zoneminder without trouble, including controlling the PTZ. The Amcrest does not require a connection to the Internet to work: I routinely block cameras from WAN access in the firewall, and the Amcrest continues streaming video to Zoneminder (within the house) without a hitch.
