Mic itself and cabling seemed pretty good quality and designed well. The arm was cheap, seemed like you could easily damage it and wasn’t overly designed well. Returned.

I work in radio and with the pandemic, I needed to set up an at home recording booth. This set up allows me to record my voiceovers and my daily radio show & it’s perfect for a compact space. The USB plug works perfect with a laptop and Adobe audition & the mic sounds crisp & clear with and without processing. This is an affordable yet sufficient set up for at home recording/voiceover work.

I mostly use the mic while Streaming my Video Games and it works great. However, the one & only problem I encounter is people's voices easily being picked up if they're in my general area.

Great sound with no hassle. Literally simply plugged in and worked like a charm. I use it primarily for video conferencing all day long. People did notice the difference right away. Consistently got the comment that I sound like a podcast instead of a regular meeting. Actual physical mute button is great!Room for improvement though. Minor issues considering the price:- I have the input volume all the way up in MacBook Pro and the volume is just about right in the recording or video conferencing. I have to speak very close to the mic, otherwise it sounds kinda distant.- I wish there were a volume/gain knob on the mic as well.- Real time monitoring is great. But, there's no way to control the volume.- There's a noticeable white noise when the headphones are plugged in for monitoring. You can definitely hear it even if the white noise is definitely not in the captured audio.- White noise is present at a lower intensity even when pressing the button on the mic to mute it. But, again, the white noise is not present in the captured audio editer.

So I am not an expert at this - I purchased the microphone because of work from home and wanted a better quality microphone. However, since it is a USB I didn't realize it couldn't be connected to a capture card to sync with video from Canon Vixia G50 video camera. As a result, the audio is about 200 ms off from the video and no way to delay audio and sync other than using OBS Studio to do that - but that is an issue with Skype/Zoom.So I wish there was software to delay the audio to sync with video.

this mic is pretty good, the parts are pretty well fit except the atcual mic part was loose. another thing to mention is that there is a low whirring sound whenever recording, also the installation is a little confusing. i would give this 3/5 stars :/
