I purchased this camera because they didn't have any more of the original I purchased of this brand and loved. This seemed close enough and reasonably priced. I have had it out in the field for a few weeks now, and most of my pictures are me. This past week, I got a squirrel and a bird which was an improvement, but not what I am looking for at all. Zero nighttime photos to gauge the quality. I checked some settings a few days ago and tweaked some odds and ends, so hopefully I come up with something. I might have to throw it on the same tree as the other gardepro though to rule out any other issues such as simply placement problems. It is an area I know without a doubt deer move through, so it's time to start ruling out other factors. It is good at getting pics of me though & they're good enough quality that I recognize myself. Not a SD card issue; I use same brand/type for my other cameras. Reformatted them though just in case.I'll update if anything changes, good or bad.

I own 21 of these cameras. I was pretty happy with them. I was using them 24x7 for the last year. This included all winter in very cold and snowy conditions. After about a year they started leaking little during extended rains and they got foggy on the inside of the lens. So I decided to order 6 more. I am very disappointed with these new cameras. Although the model number of the same it is not the same camera. This V3 update appears not to have the Sony sensor. It has the sensor that the newer models have. It is terrible. The images are over compressed, and there is no comparison to the resolution or night vision quality. Also the images are not readable in any video editing software that have (looks all back instead of seeing the picture). The V2 cameras images are fine and can be read by any program. Both versions have garbage audio. I will never buy one of these cameras again. I am looking for a replacement brand.

Had a few issues with it overloading the sensor and getting choppy video but overall good. I believe the quality to be interpolated. Still great for my purposes.

You would think that an individual would READ the product description before purchasing and then the Operation Manual before Set-up.Warm weather= low PIR setting; Cold weather= High PIR setting; Windy Weather, (Warm or Cold)= you are done and most likely have zillions of useless images, regardless of the camera brand, features, etc.Still, the most feature filled, cost effective Trail Camera on the market.

I bought two game cameras, one I ended up returning because I couldn't get it to take photos or videos and the instructions were hard to understand because of a very poor translation from Chinese to English. This GardePro camera has excellent instructions and is easy to figure out (including all settings and playback instructions on the camera itself). The photos and videos have settings that move from high to lower quality with the higher quality settings using more battery. I set my camera to lower quality settings and have gotten the exact quality of night vision photos and videos I was hoping to capture. It can also be set to operate only during certain times of the day, which can save battery usage. I have used the camera 30 to 40 hours and the camera still shows full battery availability. I highly recommend this camera, especially to someone who knows nothing about game cameras and who may even be a bit technologically challenged!

I use the Gardepro for property sirvalence. I like the fact the camera works the way I had hoped.
