The overall built and quality seems to be good. I am very disappointed though that when I attached it to my iPhone 6-plus there's always a black circle around the image - see attached. Is this how it should be? I am going to return it if the black circle can not be eliminated. Waiting on the seller's response.

I bought this monocular for my daught. She really loves it, the view is very clear. She used it for watching birds and squirrels on the tree. For me, I really like the smartphone adapter very much. It is convenient for me to mount my phone on this monocular, and the images are very clear. Attached is the photo took by my daughter.

I returned this item because it was just too awkward to use. I thought it would give me a better grip on the phone as well as serve as a zoom lens, but I evidently am not coordinated enough to make it work smoothly. Just didn't work out for me, but I'm sure it's fine for others.

Great lens for the money. Works as well as my Canon SLR telephoto, but is much easier to carry. Perfect for travel and kids' soccer games.
