I like this monocular. Seldom use the camera mount. It is a bit hard to line up the phone with the monocular but with some effort I can avoid vignetting. Would probably work best with a tripod.

Nice product. I also separately ordered mini tripod and in combination with my phone I got nice peace of photo equipment.

This is an excellent item and we have used it several times when we go to the theater. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is that it is somewhat difficult to get it to work as a telephoto lens for the iPhone. It is doable just not easy.

Very good for birdwatching, could see neighborhood birds clearly. Much better than standard phone attachment lenses and worked with my tripod. Easy assembly, no problems.

Good power, decent field of vision. Remember the greater the magnification, the more vulnerable to wobble. After reading of the difficulties folks were having with the cell phone camera on just aboit every monocular out there, I didn't even try it out; but I would imagine you'd need a tripod

I am using it with my iphone 6plus to photograph birds at my backyard feeders. The magnification is very impressive but I needed stability accessories to help keep the shot still so I bought the camera shutter wire control by Gosky and the amazon basics 50" tripod and I got some very nice shots during my first use. The images are much clearer and crisp when not using the phone attachment so really great for simpy bird watching. The camera images are much improved over my phones regular zoom abilities, but don't quite match the quality of the image when viewing through the monocular without phone adaptor. I am very happy with this purchase. Will get a lot of use out of it.

great monocular. good enlargement.the mobile adaptor, is not so good as expected, does not fit exactly in the monocular.

This is a great all-purpose monocular. 12x magnification is wow! Solid construction. Clear optics. Easy to use/adjust with one hand.So far I have used it for birdwatching, at outside events, and to keep my distance while checking out suspicious activity in my woods.The smartphone photo adapter is neat and works well, but it does require stabilization on a tripod and a remote shutter control.My only criticism is that the eyepiece cover isn’t attached to the body with a cord. There is a notch through which one and sew a piece of ribbon and and attach that to the wrist strap, though. The lens cap cover is attached to the body with a rubber ring, but it is easy to pull entirely off the body if you are popping the lenscap off with one hand and not really watching what you are doing.
