Helpful! I can see the names of books clearly by standing the other side of my living room. Hope can use it in some live game later.

The monocular is easy to use as soon as you figure out how the components work together. It is hard to obtain a good image on your smartphone display, unless a tripod is used to stablize the picture. Then, L shape assembly of monocular and smartphone interferes tripod’s angle adjusting knob and makes it a little difficult to adjust the angles. Overall, it works well and serves the purpose.

Does not work worth a flip as an add-on for my cell phone camera, but is a pretty damn good monocular.

I experimented with this at home. I bought it for a trip out west and for local bird watching. Seems to do the job. It fits well onto my iPhone 6, even in phone case. The optics are clear, without distortion

The monocular was good, but the mount is worthless, it never would stay connected to the eyepiece, so don't buy it for the phone mount.

Excellent purchase. Bought specifically to attatch to phone to improve photography. It made my cell into a great camera with telescopic ability. Extremely easy for an elder newbie to understand and use. Love the product, and quick free shipping. Thank you for such a good experience.

Compact, convenient, easy to use and works well with our Galaxy phones, iPhones and all by itself. Only a couple of things stop me from giving it a five. The phone adapter doesn't fit in the carrying case, and the eyepiece cover isn't attached to anything - making both easy to lose or misplace. Adding a small strap for the cover and a pocket on the case for the adapter would have been ideal. Also, I should have realized I would need a tripod. Zooming far away makes getting a steady picture nearly impossible by hand.

This is a great monocular, however I do find it to “unstable” takes some time to set up as well. Adapter worked with my case as stated it would. Just not quite what I was hoping for.

What a pleasant surprise! The monocular far EXCEEDS my expectation for the price. This seems to concur with most other people’s experience based on the reviews I’ve read...all seem to be quite positive. The only negative comments I’ve read seem to be about the mount for the camera/monocular connection. I played around with it for awhile and I believe I’ve discovered an easy way to avoid the frustration some folks have experienced. Do NOT attempt to make the adjustments with BOTH the camera and monocular attached at the same time, it makes alignment and tightening of the bracket far to difficult. Mount the camera FIRST, it’s a breeze to line up the phone and the eye cup when you do it from the backside...a 15 second operation to center and tighten. Then mount to the monocular as the twist grip is self centering. Bingo, perfectly centered, mounted and tightened in under a minute! Another complaint I’ve read is that it was hard to focus or the photos were blurry, I suspect this is not a problem folks had with the monocular/camera but rather a problem with trying to hand-hold a 50X monocular combined with the manual shutter button. I suggest folks use a tripod and a remote shutter release to avoid vibration and movement. I got the CAMKIX blue tooth and it works like a charm. I’ll try to follow up with a field test next month as I’m taking the kids and grand kids to Japan, so it should get a work out. This isn’t a $1500.00 Nikor lens, so don’t expect professional results, but if you are looking for an extremely inexpensive way to convert a cellphone into an effective recreational camera/telephoto combination, this should fit the bill...like I say, I was pleasantly surprised. Very clear good optics alas not 10X (maybe 7 ot 8) easy to focus and easy to attach the phone. Took many pics with it very happy with results.
