I bought the programming cord with it. After watching a YouTube on programming it with the cord I found it very easy to do.

Works well and provides a spare 220 UHF radio and I now can be prepared for operation on 2M, 220, and 440 during public service events so as not to run out of power or the need to operate on two bands at a time. Very happy with the new radio. K8QXO

Buyer beware product line seems to have well know defects that slip abundantly threw quilty control, one of which my radio suffered from is the faulty hardware that led to popping nice while in use for about week untill the radio simply didnt turn on anymore, this clearly indicates after running a full check on my equipment, battery,mic,headphones, and antenna to determine it was mearlynthe radio hardware and cheap construction and suprising g at the 70$ price tag I would certainly expect it to function longer then a week.

Radio is exactly as advertised. It takes some reading to het used to all of the dunctions, but once you inderstand what the radio can do and how to do it, you will be very satisfied.

You cannot beat the features that are offered in this radio for this price point. Solid build quality too.Highly recommended.

BTech does a fantastic job to ensure the consistency, quality and performance for this product. This is my 3rd of this model and will continue to add more of the same.

Seems to fit the bill for a starter handheld Ham. Replaced antenna as it wasn't performing but overall happy so far.
