Ordered two of these radios hoping to use them for the weekend. Received them a day early, the radio I purchased for myself even on it's highest setting sounded as if something were muffling the speaker. The second radio has no issue with blasting out the vocals on all 3 bands. It's an epic radio, when it works.I contacted the support desk (Email only/webform only) and stated my issue, they replied same day with a one line comment. "Submit an RMA: *Link Removed*" No, we apologize for the DoA product, No attempt at resolving the issue or addressing it, straight to RMA. The link led me to yet another web form to which I must wait another business day to receive word back on whether or not they will accept the fault or give me some instructions on how I might remedy the issue myself (something the initial contact email failed to do which has me pondering if it's a known issue and that's why it was immediately sent to RMA.)While filling out this review I have received the response to the RMA! It's been approved, granted I pay for shipping of the radio to their support in South Dakota, an additional cost of ~$14. (Something I can do for free through Amazon, much quicker and I can guarantee with better customer service) Mind you that's the cheapest rate for me to ship to Baofeng support, it puts the radio in their hands on the 8th, add a day for support to do their magic and ship back, that's landing the radio back no earlier than towards the end of the month (6 days to support+1 support troubleshooting+6 return shipping=13 days minimum). 13 Days. I ordered the damn radio on the 30th of last month. Literally the postal carrier will have possession of the radio longer than I will, plus I'll have to pay more for repairs (if I'm crazy and decide to RMA through Baofeng and not Amazon).

Ridiculously expensive and very hard to use but I bought it on impulse because I thought I needed to have it.

Arrived with a broken microphone and no ability to talk into. It wasn’t until I bought a second from someone else was I able to test and discover this.

Everything was fine except the volume. At full on, it was very low so had to return. I found this issue is YouTube. Let's hope the replacement works fine.UPDATE: replacement came in 2 days and it works fine. The volume is very loud! The volume on the original was only about 20% of max on max setting.

Love this radio.. those peeps that bash it are radio snobs and should buy a saab... lol.. really, this thing is great. I talk to peeps all over with jus a few simple upgrades..research it....and it is soooo simple to operate. Use it at home or in the car... dont need a $$ unit

The range isn't all that great, even if you buy an extended antenna. Probably better off to get a cheaper option (BaoFeng UV-5R, etc.) or a much higher quality product from another manufacturer.

Easy to use. Get the programming cable, you won't be disappointed. I have one for each member of the family.

The radio worked as expected, but the price was doubled compared to it’s official website where it was posted for $62.89.

Love this radio. Super easy to use and you can hear everything clear. Planning to buy another one for my wife. Battery life is good as well. I highly recommend.

This little ham radio works good and has a lot of features incorporated in it. It was a little hard to program but once you figure that out it is a nice cheap ham radio.
