Can't get this thing to work at all ! Jack won't even fit my phone. Can't get any help with it. Want my money back !

I was a little skeptical when I ordered this, as it lacks its own power source. I was glad I took a chance. The sound quality and volume level are great - better than the shotgun mic that came with the PadCaster, and takes a 9 Volt. The metal construction is superior to that one as well.Overall, I am very happy with what I received, considering the price. It will help my student video production crew up their quality game, for sure.

Overall a very decent quality mini shotgun mic. The only thing I'm concerned about is the mic clip/mount. I keep holding my breath when placing the mic into the clip...seems more like a hard plastic than a rubbery mount. So far so good...hasn't broken yet. Sound quality is pretty good...better than expected. I'm very pleased with this budget friendly little mic.
