The website did not list this as compatible as the ones shown are all the ones they have actually manually verified personally which is very noble. Most other companies would have just went 'probably' based on technical specs and put it up.I can verify the Nikon works perfectly with this.I choose the D3 over the Rode VideoMic, VideoMic Go, and VideoMic Micro after extensive Youtube reviews and audio clip samples played back on $6k of headphone and speaker monitoring equipment. I am mostly a headphone audiophile but am venturing into microphones to record some videos and for the price, this thing is simply phenomenal.Little to no noise in the background, 3 prong plug meaning it works with my desktop (using a splitter), smartphone, and DSLR.Sound is meaty with low end but also mid clarity as well.Extremely happy with purchase.

UPDATE: Months after using this mic with the GH5, GH5s and iphone x, xs, and 11, this mic sometimes creates incredibly loud radio frequency that gets baked into the audio. I do not know why this happens or what causes it, but when it happens it completely destroys the audio. It's a great mic when it's not creating feedback but if you do not have the ability to monitor your mic input you're better off going with rode. I've never had issues like this with rode and for that reason I only use this on my GH5 now when I can put on headphones to make sure there is no audio destroying sound being created from this mic.Just received mine last week and use it with the GH5 / GH5s. I think you get amazing value with this mic considering I've been using the Rode videomic pro+ for the past year or so.Rode either needs to drop their mic price by $150 or come out with something new if they want their value to match Deity's V-mic D3 Pro.The case you get with this thing is great. Seems like it would cost $20+ on its own. Also comes with a TRRS to TRRS cable and a USB-C charging cable. If you're looking to choose this or the Rode Videomic Pro+ I think you should choose the Deity V-Mic D3 Pro 100% zero questions asked.

Great for a journalist on the go. Good sound and build quality. Easy to switch between camera, phone or handheld recorder.

This microphone not only looks good on my blackmagic cam, but sounds more balanced and clear than others I've had. The recordings straight from the camera are good as they are, and also really easy to work with in post.

I was shopping for a shotgun mic and I saw a review for the new Deity V-Mic D3 Pro. It's well worth the investment and much more affordable than the Rode mic's and in my opinion much better. I had the video mic go and there is a substantial difference in sound quality. The stepless gain knob allows for a crisp sound. I have this boomed above me on an amazon basics mic stand and an extension cable from the mic to my canon camera and the sound is very professional. Well done Deity! Rode needs to be terrified.

I've been using this mic with my GH5 and in multiple configurations, mounted on top of my camera (handheld and on a zhiyun crane 2) as well as on a boom pole and on a mic pole. The audio quality is directional and sounds great with the help of the step-less gain knob! It sounds comparable to the Sennheiser shotgun that is over twice the price. It sounds good and connects quickly to any device I need it to!

Delivers what is expected at a good price. Beat value, no doubt.

Great mic, but not compatible with my C200. Planned on using it on EOS R and using an XLR adapter for the c200 but no signal. Will be returning.
