For the price, this mic is excellent. It isn’t over the top impressive, but I think you get what you pay for when it comes to audio equipment and as a result this is great for beginners and creators on a budget. It comes with everything you’ll need, including two cables for two different types of set ups, and it is very easy to use. The material feels quality and appears to be fairly durable. I also placed a call to the company’s customer service and, though their lines were flooded at the time, they called me back the same day near their closing time and we’re incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable.

I have an iphone 7S and an ipad mini 5th gen. I tested this out on my ipad mini and it did seem to improve the sound quality more or less. I imagine it will greatly improve the quality of my iphone 7S. I'm not sure how much it would improve the quality of an iphone X or above honestly. It might not be worth the trouble. I read the other reviews and expected this to happen and it did- the little red piece broke on my first try putting the microphone in. Good thing, the give you two.

Worth every dime. I really am glad I got this. Movo products are excellent, and I recommend buying directly from the Movo site in order to have access to bundled deals.

Very impressed with the easy set up and functionality of this! I also appreciated the video instructions on how to use the Movo VXR10 for vlogging, podcasts, and livestreams. The sound quality is great! Be very careful with the shock mount, no need to show off your Incredible Hulk skills for this; take your time and place the mic on the item. I’ve been having a great time so far with recording content and testing out the sounds before I actually post on social media. Very happy with this purchase and the Movo brand. Will definitely look at other items from this company!

I purchased to upgrade the performance of the microphone on iPhone 12 Pro Max for video. At very close range, there was no noticeable difference. At any distance beyond 1 foot, the sound was worse through the Movo VXR10 than the stock iPhone mic.

Perfect For recording live music. Purchased it to record con tent for my mothers virtual memorial service. All recorded con tent translated very nicely and relatives near and far were able to enjoy the service. So glad I happened upon this microphone. It was definitely the game changer as far as sound quality was concerned.

I recorded an impromptu podcast-like conversation between a friend and I in a restaurant with music and chatter in the background, and this mic was able to record our convo clearly. Of course, the background was still there, but our voices were definitely projected. I like this mic and my friend couldn’t believe how clear our voices were.

Service and follow-up have been great. Product has been great...the service was in request to take advantage of their online learning courses. As far as performance, I have not had a chance to use in wind yet (will need a follow-up) BUT in a comparable environment to past use with built-in mic, this new MOVO is super hot! Could not be happier.
