We are birders and needed an emergency set of small binos for the car. These binos are good for checking out birds sitting in trees or OH wires. (Please pull the car over to the side of the road first!). The binos will also be good to put in your pocket for other non birding activities. The strap is OK but a bit flimsy. You need a another tie to attach the eyepiece cover.

I am pleased with these binoculars. They are light weight easy to focus and offer clear view of distant objects despite my vision problems. Too bad they won't focus closer than several feet away it would make them an even more useful alternative to glasses but none of the others I looked at will do that either. They work great for the price I find myself wishing they had a range finder, though. They will fit in a pocket of my winter coat but I would have liked a more rugged belt case or shoulder bag to carry them in when the weather is too warm for a coat, but the neck strap is okay for when I know I'll be using them. There's only the joined covers for the eyepieces and none for the lens end, but the shape doesn't allow for it only time will tell if it is missed.

Bought for my boyfriends b-day. Was worried because they were so affordable they might not be very good, but my boyfriend just loves them and takes them everywhere due to compact size!!!

I like to hike in a mountainous area with nice views. These are fairly light weight and easy to carry, and give good magnification for my casual use.

Hubby loves these binoculars. Raves about how portable and sleek. He says the lens are very sharp and clear. Would definitely buy again.

Very light and compact.... the boyfriend with the $$$$$$$$ spotting scopes and binoculars was impressed and thought I'd spent much more on them.

I compared the Occer 12x25 Compact Binoculars to Nikon 8x23 6.3. The Nikon runs about $100. I found the Occer to perform as well as the Nikon. Overall finish and build isn't on par with Nikon, but for the price it's terrific.
