Works well good audio and picture quality. Plug and play seamlessIt has a pretty wide lens angle so expect most of the room to be on display not just face and torso when sitting in front. Else nice little camera.

Only had this webcam for about a day now, but the setup was quick and easy; just plugged it in and added a Video Capture Device source in OBS Studio and it immediately loaded up!Picture is extremely high quality, with absolutely no pixelation or tearing that I can see. The ring light is VERY well balanced, with three distinct levels of brightness available to cycle through via touching the front of the camera.Came with two privacy covers which were easy to attach and use. Although, they feel like they're made of very cheap plastic, and I expect repeated use to wear it down and make it nonfunctional over time. Luckily, it came with two, so it should be trivial to replace when needed.The head of the camera swivels on the base, a feature that most other webcams I've used lacked. Because of this, I can now seat the camera evenly on my monitor and turn the head to face me directly. No more finnicky adjusting and slow drifting out of position; the swivel is very high quality and stays put once turned, with minimal effort to adjust.Cord is pretty long, but not overly so. My setup features a USB hub behind my main monitor, so cord length wasn't too much of an issue. However, I could easily reach the cord to my tower, which is under my desk.Auto-focus is pretty smart and doesn't constantly readjust like other cameras I've used. White balance is very well tuned, with bright lights behind me, (from my window and lamp), not affecting quality all that much. Additionally, with the ring light having three distinct levels of brightness, lighting is no longer an issue. I found that, in my situation, the second brightness level is perfect for highlighting my face without washing it out, while also drawing focus away from the background lighting.All in all, extremely happy with this one. I sprung for the 4-year warranty, so if I have another wire mishap like I did with my last, similarly-priced camera, I'll have no issues getting it replaced or fixed.Summary: 10/10 for the price! Well worth it. =D

The C980 was well packaged and easy to install. Works unexpectedly well!

Still figuring out the light levels. Wish there were rubber feet on the support base that rests on the back of the screen to improve stability.

I loved this camera

The clarity of the photo is excellent. It feels a little "wider" and pulled back than other cameras I've had, but more clear and sharp. The light is really only useful if you sit close to the monitor or in a dark environment.

Compared to the camera in my laptop, this thing seems pro-grade (it's not) but even compared to "higher-end" webcams costing $100-120, I'd rate this right up there with them. Set it up in seconds, and it has worked beautifully for several weeks now. The ring light is a useful feature (I wasn't sure it would be). In the mornings, when the natural light in the room is a bit yellow, the ring light trues up the colors a bit.

Much better than premium Lenovo X1 notebook integrated camera.Led lighting is not as useless as announced in many reviews: it cannot replace an average table lamp, but if there is no light other than your computer screen, it is sufficient to share emotions with the person on the other end.Still, there are two areas you may need to consider before purchasing:Autofocus - overreacts... when sitting in front of a notebook, talking and moving presumably 5-10 inch back and forward. People I communicated with complained that the camera struggles constantly to focus (zooming in and out)... whenever I could I disabled autofocus in web camera settings (e.g. in Skype), but not all video conferencing applications let you change web camera settings (e.g. MS Teams, or Zoom).Overexposure in bright light - I switch to the integrated camera if it is daylight in the room, and return to the Webcam after sunset :) It performs 100 times better in dark settings.

This item plugs in and it's ready to go in less than 3 min! Love that quick, easy set up! Picture and audio and perfectly clear. Just be sure you read the "wide angle" part of the description because its true - also the reason I'm giving it a 4. Seems you can't zoom in. So although I'm sitting about 1 foot away from the lens, on screen, I look like I'm 5 ft away. Not ideal for web meetings. I've asked the seller for tips on how I can look larger/closer on screen. If there's a way, I'll be back super fast to give this sleek little beauty a 5!

My husband is a dark-skinned male and the light seemed to make him darker. I have had webcams that auto-adjust in no light that light better. I wouldn't recommend this camera for a dark-skinned person of color if you are looking for the light on the camera to make you show up. As a medium brown woman, it added a bluish tint to me, but overall I didn't like the look with myself either.
