The camera quality is good for the price. I agree with the other viewers that the light provides very little.

The overall performance and appearance of this webcam is superior to what I was using previously. The built-in lighting feature works well. I have a dual monitor set up, so I mounted the webcam between the monitors. The base has a threaded hole to secure it to whatever platform you desire; the thread size is 1/4-20 UNC. Mounting it atop a monitor proved impractical due to movement of the monitors. I didn't like the privacy cover feature which is a stick on sliding door (aperture); really cheap. So, when I mounted the webcam up, I use a party cup (solid color) over the top of it. If it ever comes on by control, there will be nothing to see or hear - LOL.

I liked the idea of the privacy cover but it is two pieces of plastic that easily break--they give two so you can break both of them? Camera is fine but it is a joke to call those two pieces of plastic a privacy cover---Best not to overpromise and underdeliver....

I've had several webcams ranging from really expensive to dirt cheap. I never really liked any of them and wasn't expecting much from this one either, because my PC is older (like 10 years old) and I figured I'd never get good quality until I bought a new PC. I was completely and totally wrong because this little camera apparently doesn't care. The picture quality is unbelievably good - clear, crisp, sharp and the colors are bright and accurate. People on the other end of Zooms remark just how good the video quality is. The sound is good too, though I admit that most of the time I use a different microphone set up because I'm broadcasting live music. Either way, this little camera is really impressive, enough so to get me to write a review which is something I never do unless I either really like or really hate a product. It's really a steal for the money.

Great webcam for the price and excellent picture. Unfortunately the ring light does little to nothing in providing light on my face during zoom meetings as had hoped. Other than that, connection was as simple as plugging it in.

Good camera , picture quality is good. If you are buying for the illumination you are better off buying an O- light ring separately.
