For a camera priced much below Logitech, its quality doesn't leave much to be desired. Only reason it doesn't get a 5-star from me is the privacy cover; I'll want a decent solution rather than the stick-on, slide-out cover that came with it. Still covers it, but less native/convenient.

Needed a webcam that was movable and worked after dark well, this does both well. Plug and play out of the box for me. Haven't tried the mic yet.

Wanted to try a stand alone camera for work video calls instead of the trying to fiddle with the camera in my laptop lid every time! This camera worked right out of the box. Computer (and zoom and skype) quickly recognized it after plugging in USB. The picture looks good to me and the light is nice with 3 brightness levels. I'm told the sound is good on calls but only if I have the camera no more than about 12 inches away from me, so not ideal to use as just a microphone. The only thing that could be better is the lens cover is not built in, it's just a plastic tab you have to stick on. Then swipe open and closed for privacy. They do give you 2 though :)

This is a basic but high quality camera. The light adds quality to the image in online meetings and chats.

Ok, I've been using my company webcams and even my personal laptop webcams which are surprisingly 420p and 720p respectively.Meetings, where I can show myself with higher image quality, has indeed helped in people seeing my smaller facial expressions I naturally do, to create a more relaxing and learning environment.Even the mic quality is on par with my older work laptop, and close enough to my personal, newer, laptop.(of course for more important meetings, I set up my dedicated Mic)Now, the fill light. Strongest setting was awesome when the outside light was hitting behind me, to cover my face well, which also means higher image quality (like photography).Medium setting was great for all rounder - cloudy day, to a room not well lit. I even tilt the camera downwards sometimes to use the lights as my "lamp" instead of blasting a big lamp.Low setting is perfect for dark room and setting up a small accented light on your face, and the background black.All-in-all, i love this thing. The camera is a good little camera for doing online meetings. It has a nice ring light with 3 levels of brightness. I wish it would remember my setting level each time, and automatically turn on to my desired level. The microphone pics up my voice very well and the listeners do not seem to have any issue hearing me.The lens cover is my main complaint. It is a self stick sliding cover. There is no real image or description of where to place it. When open, it does seem to cover a small light, but it was either place it there or cover the mic hole. This could be better thought out.For an inexpensive camera, it does the job as I expected it to.

I purchased this for my wife who works from home. Lighting on her face was bad (dark) and the camera angle from her lap top was not great. She set it up and she always gets me to install things. She is so happy with it she recommended it to a coworker.

Camera works great for class and telehealth clients. The light kinda washes me out so I don't use it much
