This is a fantastic camera for the price, I have never used one that is hundreds of dollars but this one at its price point - I can't see how it could get much better. Super easy install, literally plug it in and it works with you computer, zoom, etc. The built in light works great, sound quality is good, ss with any camera and people reviewing them, lighting is everything. Even in the dark this camera has great quality. Overall its a really great camera.

Camera works great. Very clear picture and its plug and play no issues. All the extra features are not that great. The Microphone is understandable but has a lot of crackly. The built in speaker on the laptop is actually better. The privacy shield sticker works but is a bit flimsy and covers up the indicator light that lets you know the camera is on. It was an afterthought. The built in light i am sure works great in specific instances but for me it just washes me out and I guess I don't have a light enough touch. Half the time when I try to turn it on I move the camera out of place.

tl;dr - I would not recommend this to others.In general this is an ok, but not great web camera for the price. Now that I've used it in person, I'm sure that there are better options. However, as a portable camera with ring light for someone who spends a lot of time on video calls from hotel rooms; this may be just what you need to keep bulk and weight down in your travel bag. It is adequately small and portable for one with a built in light.For those that want to read the full details, there are some design failures that are worth mentioning:1. The threads are too shallow for mounting this camera on a tripod. The screw bottoms out before the foot clamps down on the tripod; making the thing wobble. This isn't an issue if you hang it from your monitor the way most people will.2. The activity light is horrible. It does exist, but it passes light through from the ring light and is also extremely dim and the same white color as the ring light. With the ring light off it is possible to discern if the camera is in use; but you have to look at it closely and think about it. When the ring light is on; you can NOT tell if the camera is in use or not by looking at that indicator. This disqualifies the camera in my opinion. The activity light should be a different color (I recommend green or amber) and should be mounted in a way that it doesn't internally bleed light through that area from the ring light.3. The privacy cover is a sticker they threw in the box. I use similar slide covers on phones and laptops that don't come with one built in; however as an advertised feature of this camera, that is extremely disappointing. Yes; technically the box includes a privacy cover that you can add; no the camera does NOT have a privacy cover itself.4. White balance issues. For general use; the picture quality for this camera is good given it's price. There are some small auto-focus issues; but they have been relatively minor. However, I purchased this one (with a generally reviewed as bright ring light compared to other similarly priced cameras) specifically to use with a green screen on zoom calls. In this capacity; the camera gets thrown completely off. I look like a tomato. When I change the light source it briefly looks ok, but a moment later it adjusts the balance and goes back to tomato mode. This would be annoying but forgivable if it only happened with external light sources; but even using the ring light at full bright as the only light source; it still happens. For this reason; I 100% can't use this camera and will probably give it to someone who will only use it occasionally from hotel rooms.I've had better luck with other cameras from this same vendor; so this one is a bit of an enigma. Buyer beware.

The camera is fine and appears to work ok. The audio seemed to be weak, but no one on a zoom meeting has complained. The privacy cover appeared worthless, so I didn't install it. Since there is an "Active" light, I didn't feel the privacy cover was important.

Just got it today and set it up. The picture quality is pretty good and the camera controls (default Windows) are ok. It would be nice to have a zoom feature, but that comes at a higher cost.My one complaint is with the ring light. While it does a nice job of providing fill lighting, it is a power hog. Any setting above the lowest seems to lower the power in the line to the point that the PC reports it disconnected. I tried it with two 'straight from the PC' connections on two PCs with the same result. Perhaps a powered hub can provide the extra juice needed.

The video quality is good the lite is worth it. Just wanted the 60 for this is only 30fps

This is our first web cam purchase for YT and FB streaming. The PC recognized it right away, with no need for drivers to be installed. The picture quality is not as good as it could be, but we are finding that the camera does auto-adjust for lighting, which we have found causes the picture to be too dark when you have too much light on the subject. Less is more with this camera. If you can get the lighting just right, the camera is not too bad. The auto-focus works well. The dual mics are a little "tinny?" but do a well enough job. The mics are quite sensitive and can pick up voice and other sounds from across a room, so keep that in mind. Overall, quite happy with this camera, after learning how to "tune" the lighting, etc.

I bought this model because it offered a light ring. Pressing the light ring causes it to cycle from low, medium, high brightness and off. On Zoom I sometimes have it off or on low depending on the time of day and cloudiness.

This is probably great for the price, and the ring light is an awesome feature. But the camera's rendition isn't as clear and well defined as I thought an HD camera would be. That said, it's working well within my teaching setup so will be keeping it. It is replacing an $80 logitech that died after 4 months so am hopeful that this one will last.

Received this yesterday, and using it right now. Purchase for teaching online and video conferencing. I have used many cameras. Most give a wide-angled/fish eye lens, and have been harsh and unflattering. This camera does not include control over wide to zoom lens adjusting, but does give a more flattering video. The light adds a softer blend for skin pours, which is very much appreciated. If you are looking for a camera for video meetings, this is a very good one to use. I cannot comment on the built-in mic because I use a headset. I am not thrilled by the lens/privacy cover. The cover (includes 2) is a black piece of plastic, that can be slid open or closed. It has a sticky back, to stick on, but I do not plan on sticking it on because I assume it will fall off. I plan to unplug my camera when not in use. I paid close to $60, this camera should be in the $35-$45 range. Summary: +++ Easy to use, Flattering, Built in adjustable light. --- Unable to change lens from wide to telephoto, Questionable Lens Cover, Price is a bit higher. UPDATE... This gives a very fake, filter-like glow. It hides pours, but makes it look very intentional. I would like it to be more natural.
