Nice piece holds my 6 1/2 pound binoculars to my parallelogram perfectly and securely.

Works just as well for a fraction of the price. It also works with the originals.

I Purchased this and the Manfrotto 323 RC to test and compare. The Utebit unit is very well built and provides 100% functionality and compatibility. The D-ring is slightly smaller and the clamp lever is marginally shorter, but hardly noticeable. I wound up purchasing multiple Utebit clamps for all of my tripods.

Purchase to add to used Manfrotto tripod with a ball head found on craigslist that was missing the camera mount. I used a 3/8-16 x 3/4 set screw to connect them together. Works fine.

What I did not like is that the metal plate you screw in your camera is covered with a " too thick " coat of paint and they snap together with the plate it makes it not so stable compare to my old one. The clamp itself is also covered with a thick coat of paint and when the paint wears off it makes it also not so stable.

It works sometimes. While making sure that the secondary lock is disengaged, the quick release base plate locking lever has a hard time unlocking sometimes.

I was needing a quick release plate to allow rapid interchange of a caged BMPCC 4K between a monopod and a motorized slider. The UTEBIT 323 RC2 provides a solid interlocking plate system with an "safety lever" design to minimize accidental plate release. The option to use either a 3/8" or 1/4" thread connection to a base plate is a big plus,as I may need to use different tripods/monopods for various video applications. Highly recommended.

I ordered the UTEBIT version of the Manfrotto-compatible quick release plate because I had ordered other UTEBIT items and they were well built. The only enhancement they could make would be to make this item lighter - using aluminum instead of the cast metal they now use. Of course, that would mean that it would cost a little more $$.Nice product.

This QR plate is quite sturdy and is strong enough for most cameras. Coincidentally, my review has to agree with that of another reviewer: I couldn't figure out how that tiny little lever works. I had to experiment with it over a couple of days until I finally got it. Sure wish the plate came with some instructions for dummies! It didn't have any instructions at all. Other than that, the plate itself is functionally excellent.
