I am sure I will enjoy the use of the scope once I get everything to function properly.

Update: Seller contacted me on their own initiative after seeing my review and offered a gift card or a new unit. I went for a new unit and the second time it worked like a charm. Adhoc WiFi was immediately present and allowed a connection. Image was up when I launched the app, focusing is surprisingly easy.Changing review to 5 stars based on customer support taking the initiative when they didn’t have to (I should have tried the first device when I received it) and giving them the benefit of the doubt the malfunctioning device I initially received was an anomaly. Leaving original info below in case any one else encounters the same issue I did with my first device.Google Pixel 5 sees the adhoc wifi show up rarely and can't connect when it does. So far I have yet to get it connected. Waited to long to try it out after receiving it to try it out so to late to return it.

This thing won't connect to my new phone. Come on. My last phone was the cheapest smartphone they make this one is an upgrade. I downloaded app. Linked to wife and screen is black...not happy..I fell like 40 bucks was wasted.

Update: after posting my review the seller contacted me and offered to either send me a new unit at no charge or refund my account. I appreciate that this is a business that stands behind their products. Upgrading from 1 star review to 3 stars...not sellers fault and appears if you take the time to work with them that they will take care of issues their customers have.First post:The scope worked for the first days and then broke. It's bluetooth no longer casts a signal. After spending several hours trying to figure it out I'm going to have to give up...since it is now 3 months after initial purchase I can no longer return this...I'm going to figure out if trying to deal with the manufacturer for warranty is worth it. Great idea, wish it had worked.

At first the focus was difficult to figure out. The only downside is no digital focus. Other than that it's a phenomenal product! It works amazingly
