Instructions: This microphone is plug-and-play! I tested it successfully with both windows 10 as well as with the included USB-A female to USB-C male adapter (very thoughtful!) with my android phone. Both immediately detected and switched to the microphone as the default microphone input. I secured the adapted cable to the stand with a rubber band so that I don't lose it.Pros:*Good clear sound.*Captures audio near the microphone clearly and accurately with the heart-shaped profile as promised.*I experienced no pops, hiss, or other audio artifacts or distortion.*Captures speaking, singing, African drumming, and beatboxing equally well.*Controls are simple and effective--volume control for both mic input and headphone output and mute work perfectly and are EXTREMELY useful!*Can plug headphones directly into the microphone to monitor the input. Extremely useful when using the microphone either for announcing/PA, as well as for singing live! Love this feature.*Comes with a generously long and SHIELDED USB-C male to USB-A male cable for both data and power!*Can be used with your phone!*Mute button*Has volume reduction -- this was difficult to test, as the microphone does such a good job at capturing only the sound intended near the microphone, that it was hard to even create adequate background noise, but the volume reduction worked as intended to eliminate what background noise I was able to create. The heart-shaped close-range capture profile of this microphone works better than any active noise cancelation could to prevent unwanted background noise!Cons:*The echo feature is useful only for Karoake. At the lowest setting it is fairly severe. Still, it is nice to have!*Cheap plastic construction (what else did you expect for $30??). HOWEVER, The fasteners which hold the microphone in the stand are METAL and easily REMOVABLE! Allowing you to easily remove the microphone from the stand and hold it in your hand for live singing or for interviewing people! Also allows for easily adjusting the tension with which the microphone pivots in the stand.This microphone is perfect for: podcasting, singing, playing music, and teaching virtually.Suggestions for improvement: For another model, it would be very cool to add bluetooth connectivity so that I could monitor the microphone's input with my bluetooth headphones, which everybody is using these days. It would also be very useful to add an optional extension to extend the microphone further from the base to more comfortably position it. I acknowledge that these features would be at a different price point and would be a fundamentally different product, but they are the only ones which have occurred to me to be lacking.For the price, I could not ask for more. It works extremely well and exactly as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how easily it works with my phone, which is exciting as I can use various music apps that I already have with this product without finding ones on my computer. It also means that I can work on my music wherever I am, and the microphone being quite small is easy to carry with me. I only wish that it came with some sort of sleeve to protect it when carrying it.10/10!

With not all children not being able to get vaccinated yet, our kids were signed up for summer school and they were only offered online. They required a webcam, headphones and microphone. While the webcam had a mic, it did not function as it should so we decided to purchase this. Packaging was great and supported securely with styrofoam. Installation was essentially plug and play! Comes with a foam filter which is fully removable. The wire going into the mic is usb-c and the other end is standard usb a. There are two buttons and two knobs. The buttons were easy to push and were made very well. And the two knobs were also very secure and smooth to the turns. We are extremely happy with the mic and pleasantly surprised at the price of this product compared to other brands. It picks up voices several feet away and is crystal clear on the other end. It also takes up very little space on the desk. All in all, this was a great purchase!

this mic is a fantastic choice for a cheaper microphone for recording podcasts, or even on zoom if your a teacher. i highly recommend it for anyone that fills any of those criteria, and it is cheap
