Very happy with this product. My only criticism, is you don't want to be doing handheld shooting with this attached to your camera. It picks up every little movement. Otherwise, the sound reproduction is amazing.

Honestly it sounds as good as my RODE. The quality of the material is a little less, plastic etc. But I haven't had any issues with the sound whatsoever. Works wonderfully.

Idk why but the mic sounds great on my iPhone 11, but very staticy on my canon 77D!! Not too happy about that as I purchased it for the use of my canon!! I’m going to watch a few YouTube videos and see what I can learn!! Was very excited, but now I’m a little disappointed! I’ve tried adjusting the volume in camera and nothing

I bought this mic because of all the positive reviews and I did need a sensitive external mic for my sony A7ii. The good: very sensitive and easy to use. The recording itself is good. The bad: There is a design problem in that the mic is poorly shielded and prone to interference of digital noises if it is used in a digital signal surrounded environment. The symptom is very loud popping noise. Initially, I thought there was something wrong with the mic, but later realized this is due to electronic interference in the environment. I have to change locations several times to get rid of the popping sound. I happen to have an Emiral mic about the similar price, which is much much quieter in the same environment but maybe less sensitive than this one though the difference in sound quality is not that much. So this mic is an ok one but needs improvements controlling background noises.

I bought it for my Nikon d5600. I make Youtube videos and the mic totally improves the sound. The only thing I don't like is the bracket that holds the mic. It's very flimsy and feels cheap. The spring thing that holds and connects the battery keeps loosening up and I would have no power unless i bent the spring thing back ( so it can touch the negative side of the battery in order to have power) using a small flathead. I've had it for several months now and I can tell the spring thing will break off soon.overall, it does the job for the most part and you get what you pay for

This microphone works great for what I need it to do. The sound quality is perfect and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I order this product for my Canon camcorder.. I didn't see but one person that had a camcorder review that wrote a review about this mic so I wanted to share my review... it came boxed really well.. however you will need 2- aaa batteries for the mic doesn't come with batteries which is no big deal... It also comes with a windsock which for me is a plus bc I'll be using this to record my hunting videos.. however I went outside and actually tested the mic. And the comparison between just the mic on the camcorder itself and then when this mic is turned on its unreal... I thought I had good audio with just the cam corder mic but man when plugged this mic in and turned it on the audio was just clear and even better quality... The wind was also blowing and never could I hear the wind blow with the windsock on it... I also did a walk away clip. Where I had just the cam corder recording as I walked away from the cam talking normal voice and then I plugged the mic in and did the same thing. Walked away while talking normal and man you talk about the mic picking up my voice longer and farther way then the built in mic on the cam corder. It was also clear.. I'm well pleased with this mic...
