Very soon, no manufacturers will continue to make these due to the ending of the M line of Canon bodies and lenses. This particular design retains AF, and is smooth to mount and remove. I got this one to replace an offering from a different manufacturer that didn't perform as well, and this KF version works flawlessly. It does offer the mount that is missing from other manufacturer's designs and comes in handy to improve balancing on a ball-mount tripod head. I like KF products in general, and this is another good offering from their catalog.

Out of this box this feels solid. Connects to my camera body without issue and works pretty well from what I can tell. I only have one older lens so I havent done extensive testing on this but what I have works like a charm so this is great. Cant wait to expand my lens collection and put this through its paces. Very happy with this.

Picked this up on a whim to try out EF glass on my Canon M6ii, grabbed a used nifty 50 EF lens for about a buck per mm of focal length, and this adapter was plug and play. My camera correctly detected the lens as a EF 50mm 1.8, there's no issues switching between manual and AF, and haven't had any issues swapping the adapter with lens still attached in and out. The adapter itself feels pretty solid, I've been handling it pretty roughly but no problems so far. Perfectly functional option for us still on EF-M

I ordered this adapter to connect a Canon EF 50mm lens to my Canon R6 camera and it works perfectly. It connects solidly to the lens and camera and all functions worked without issue. The feel is a little plasticky, but considering the price point, it is still a very good buy.

This adapter is solid and holds the lens on very well, but I have one weird issue (and I am giving 5 stars because I am not sure if it’s the adapter or the camera). When putting a different lens on, I leave the adapter on, turn off the camera and swap the lens. I then have to pull the battery and put it back in, or the camera won’t power (canon R7). You can hot swap by changing lenses with it on and there’s no issues (though I did have an autofocus issue for a little bit and it fixed itself). Again, no idea if it’s the adapter or the camera. Besides that, solid and keeps IS, aperture, and focus abilities available.

I have not had the opportunity to use this yet, but I can say that it seems to be very high quality. The packaging is very nice, with magnetic closure...I normally don't comment on packaging, but this attention to detail is kind of impressive. I also like that this has the screw hole in the bottom to attach to the mount, providing better balance than attaching at the camera body.

I got this for astrophotography with my DSLR. I've got a couple telescopes and astro-cameras, but I'd like to try my hand at DSLR with zoom lenses and get a wider field of view than what I have now. I just don't have enough clear nights to experiment too much with something new. I will post an update once that time comes, though!

I’m very pleased to see the quality in kf. Compared to Neewer things are a bit more tight and neat . Materials more premium.

Highly recommend for the price

Okay, I totally misunderstood what this was. Thought it was an EF-M mount, rather than an adapter. So, I can't use it yet. But it's the usual K&F quality, and buyer's experience. Comes packed like fine jewelry. And, the price is nice. K&F is usually a little pricy in the lens accessory category, but this adapter comes in pretty competitively in that department, compared to my other adapters, mounts, and brands of them. K&F for the win.

The adapter includes electronic contacts for aperture control thereby facilitating smoother usage of the adapter. The adapter is for mounting the EF lenses on the Cannon ESO M system i.e., the mirrorless camera system. A mount (released by loosening the hex head screw) with a 1/4" screw hole is included and can be used to directly mount this to the tripod. A hex key is also included. The adapter has a quick-release metal tab for releasing the lens.
