Bought this to use as a motion detector in a relatives backyard (kept on their porch away from the elements) to catch images of wild animals. After about two weeks they smelled burning plastic and the determined the source of the smell being the unit had melted internally. Hoping it was a factory defect, Returned and replaced at Amazon. Will update this review if it happens again.

Seems to be what I wanted. I like the idea of being able to mount it at home for security purposes or use it to video my hunting experience.

So far it is EXACTLY what I needed and didn't break the bank and easy to use. Initial impressions are great!

Easy setup and Iike the option of either 4 or 8 batteries. Give me a couple months with it in the field and I will review.
