I think the thing is great for on the road, I have been taking it with me on holiday for 4 weeks now (backpacking with all the fuss). I have tried it out at sea on the beach, in the (rain) forest, day and night and I am happy every time. been happy, so no trace of wear. Even in combination with a digital camera, more or less usable images were created. I did not have the often described problem with slow focus. I liked it tight, just enough that I wasn't afraid to change it when he got there. Personally, I only found the strap that hangs around my neck a bit windy, but there are plenty of alternatives. I would get it again.
Not to be outdone as a little all-rounder! Not to be outdone as a little all-rounder!

Construction: It was well packaged. I noticed it right away because I had unpacked the cheap version the day before. It was a difference like night and day. The installation was done quickly. Adjusting the smartphone adapter went well. I like that it feels high quality. And it probably is. The focusing wheel is very accurate and has no idle or anything like that. And this is quite simple. I don't know yet what this function is for. I don't see any difference in the photo. But the fact is that it depends on which side the smartphone faces in landscape format. Because the weight of the smartphone is sufficient to rotate this attachment. In the photo of my daughter you can see an effect that I am not sure is a defect in the lens. I'm no stranger to this effect, but I don't know where I know it from. When this has already happened. I don't have it in every photo. It's about that blue "aura" about the hair.

Overall rating: 5/5 For the price, the monocular is definitely recommended! Sharp image: It must be clear in advance that neither the zoom of a € 2000 spotting scope nor images from a € 1500 telephoto lens can be achieved with the small spotting scope. But for the price we get this little monocular for, it's really great! Without a mobile phone attachment, it works like a normal spotting scope/telescope, we quickly get a super sharp image before our eyes. And good photos: the included mobile phone attachment can be mounted quickly and accurately with a little practice. This means that we can spontaneously take very good photos in the field, with ease and, above all, without having to lug around a huge camera. The attachment also sits very firmly on the device, i.e. the spotting scope is too heavy to hold the mobile phone alone, but when turned around you can only carry the spotting scope and the mobile phone sits firmly on it. Conclusion: Great price-performance ratio, especially suitable for a spontaneous walk and we have the photos directly on our mobile phone.

I am surprised by the good operation and the good image quality for the price. Put it in the car so you can always talk to birds safely, even when you're on the road. I am very satisfied, even though there are of course better optics.

When zooming in and observing from a distance, I imagined something more. Sometimes I have the impression that I can see better with the naked eye than through the monocular. But you don't want the impression to be that the monocular is not zooming in properly, because it is. Or my expectations were too high for this price. Taking photos with a smartphone works fine, if you have placed the camera correctly in the holder, it takes some fiddling until the camera is in the correct position.

For the price you get a small, handy and functional monocular. Keep in mind that better image resolution also comes with a more expensive price.

Obviously not as good as binoculars or a telescope, but did the job I wanted and brought things closer at a distance. Good construction, small enough to take anywhere.

Decent little monocular with reasonable quality optics and a comfortable molded grip that also prevents it from rolling off a flat surface. The focusing ring is very stiff and that is the only downside.

The only minor drawback is the mini magnification arrow, which is almost invisible. Otherwise, I think the image quality is good enough, lightweight and easy to use. I also have a pair of Swarovsky Habicht binoculars, which obviously have better image quality, but are also heavier - so I don't like to carry them around for days on end on walks.

Price performance is very good; Optics very good; Tripod heavy so stable; thread for mobile phone holder poorly made (plastic in plastic)
