I was skeptical to purchase a gimbal stabilizer even though I had been looking at them for sometime. Finally decided to buy one and after so much deliberation I settled for the Hohem iSteady X2 and I am so happy I did. I did some tests at home to get used to and it was not difficult and their App is excellent in guiding you. I took it in a caribbean cruise and it was very helpful. I will now use it to record my daughter's soccer games. I am so happy I bought this. I travel light and this was no problem as it folds nicely into a small bag to carry with you. My first product with this company, but I will certainly be looking to buy more from them.

This is my third gimbal. The software for both of the other ones suddenly stopped and couldn't be reinstalled. This was shipped quickly and was easy to set up and use with very little practice. It also cost less than the other two! All features work well. I didn't need the remote or tripod. It fits on my regular tripod. The short one that comes with it does extend the handle, making it easier to hold. Like the wrist strap. The only thing I don't like is the button to release the gimbal so it will unfold is difficult to unlatch.

This was a Xmas gift to myself as I have been tasked to create work related videos as a side project. So far it seems to work well. The only issues I have are: the remote is too small and even with the lanyard provided I feel this can be easily lost, & I cannot seem to get the Inception option to operate properly. I assumed the gimbal would do most of the work but when I try it, it reverse spins the phone and begins to just flop on it. I did also have to remove a card holder pouch I attached to the back of my phone case as it didn’t lay with in the bottom part of the clamp. I also would have preferred a case to carry it instead of a pouch that doesnt offer protection when carrying it around. Overall not a bad purchase yet.

I chose this particular gimbal, based on the previous reviews, as well as the price, and have not been disappointed. It's easy to learn to use, and even travels quite well in my backpack. Looking forward to making great videos for social media of upcoming trips.

It's still to early to really make an indepth review since it was only on today Christmas, was when my son opened the gift. But first impressions are very positive. He's used it here indoors to check it out and very happy with stabilizer.
