To position my phone correctly, it covers the power button so when it is holding the phone, I can't turn it on! Also when I do put in the phone. It beeps then turns off every time. The software is also hopeless.

This innovative technology is great and exactly what I was searching for. I create content for fun and this has helped immensely. It captures a clear video. The difference in quality is quite noticeable. The flexibility feature is the coolest gadget for products such as these. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

Wrote 4 stars because the iPhone pro max 12 is too heavy for this unit. Though it works for the most part with and without the case, randomly it will spin out of control as it seems it’s too heavy for it

Sure they advertise the face tracking doesn't rely on any app and you're free to use anything, but I think it's terrible that they force you to download their app and registration is mandatory to even first be able to use the gimbal. That's a big negative.I've used Hohem gimbals before and I think they're decent when it comes to using it with smartphones; this new version with the face tracking really intrigued me, so I decided to give it a try.You need to be in a well lit area for it to keep tracking. You need to make an OK sign with your hand to enable it. If you do the thumbs up gesture to the right then the camera will mechanically go into portrait mode. It's pretty cool, but it's annoying when you switch between portrait/landscape, it loses tracking and you have to do the OK symbol again. I would have preferred if they made the gesture one hand instead of two.All these Ai tracking products seem to be flooding the market now. If you don't really care about the gimbal, and more interested in the tracking part, the "OBSBOT Me" is a way superior product (if you also don't need portrait/landscape orientation switching).Initially I was wowed by this technology (and I'm a huge gadget geek), it's really not a gimmick at all, but after trying out the OBSBot Me, that product's Ai tracking is so much better and they don't require ridiculous app/registration to use it right away.

This is such a great tool for photography for sports, moving children or on vacation! Easy to use and pretty aesthetic. From the AI sensor to moment mode and gesture control the smartphone gimbal works so well! The image stabilization is amazing and I love The carrying case and the fact it’s got an emergency power bank! It’s like they thought of everything!

I gotta say this AI gimbal must be a breakthrough for the gimbal market. I try it on Zoom, Tiktok, and many other Live Apps. iSteady V2 makes it track my face when I am walking in front of the camera. That is so impressive and I bet no one can produce this kind of wonderful product except for Hohem. Well done, Hohem! For those people who are willing to have a try on it, go and get it!
