It is impossible to proper balancing it using an iPhone 13 pro max. My bad that I didn’t test it within the time period to return it.It is ok (giving the price) for a small phone though.

this did not work out for me, i have a Samsung Galaxy s10+ and i had to remove the lightweight case from my phone for it to be light enough to work in landscape mode, even then one of the motors on the stabilizer got hot from constantly struggling to keep it level. I didn't want to have to remove my case when using it and i only do landscape mode (doing video in portrait mode is what people do who have no intention of watching it on a TV made since the turn of the century ;-). I had to send it back, I'll likely forgo the thought of a stabilizer for my phone and just go the go pro route or something like that.

Good luck getting this thing to work. Easier to just video it yourself.Watched 20 different videos on how to change the orientation and the thing has a mind of its own and goes whatever direction that’s not how I want it.
