They paired immediately with my ipad without any problems, and the sound quality is top-notch. The headphones themselves fit well and the noise-cancellation is great: I've been wearing these while I run on the treadmill and with noise-cancellation activated I can just barely hear the treadmill noise (and trust me, it's noisy). There are volume controls on the headset, but they're sort of strange... they're not buttons, but you swipe up and down on the outside of the right earpiece like an iphone. I was skeptical at first, but the volume controls work perfectly. The only thing I don't like is that they have a "feature" that pauses the music if you take the headphones off. This would be fine except that the feature occasionally misfires (especially if you're wearing them while working out). It doesn't happen that often, and when it does you can always restart the music on the device itself, but it would be nice if this "feature" could be disabled.
