We moved into an open concept house. Our tv 's are two close together and this device makes things bearable. I can listen to tv without her moving her's up to 80% and interfering with mine. Also you can hear phone ring or kids moving around ect. Blue tooth hooked up seamlessly first time and every time thru our Apple tv box.cons; very poor bass, and a little tin in the high notes. Also just barely fits my neck, but I am a very large guy. Have dropped it on hard floors several times and it keeps on ticking. Have not used up battery , but I do generally put it on a charger every nite. Have not used it more than six hours without charging.

I bought this and the Monster (which I have also reviewed) to replace my failed Bugani which I would have bought again but would no longer charge and is only available in micro-USB which is what failed.That said I rate the Bludio 5 stars because it deliver way more than one would expect for $20. Yes It's weak. Yes it only has a 5 hour battery. Yes it all hard plastic and can be uncomfortable. Yes it wants to fall off all the time. Yes I rate it 5 stars despite all of this because it's perfect for what I use it for.

What I like is the fact that you don't need your phone to listen to music. Load a MicroSD card with your music and play. It has an FM tuner also but I live in a place with bad reception so don't know how well that part works. Plus bluetooth that works just fine. Pandora, Spotify, etc. Sound is OK. It has 4 speakers. Stereo sound is good. Has a built in mic for answering calls. Charge port is usb-c. One negative is it does move around a little on your neck. I think if it had a rubber strip in the part that rest against the neck it would probably stay in place.

So, if you wanna know how loud this is... It's about the sound of an Ipad similar but just better sound quality. Battery life not that good. Super good for listening to 8d audio.

I bought this for listening to television late at night without waking up sleeping family members and to prevent the associated discomfort of wearing headphones/earphones for long periods. The Bluedio HS CAN be heard if someone is sitting next to you, but I can turn up the volume quite loud without disturbing anyone else just a few feet away.I own both this (retails at around $20) and the Bose Soundwear Companion (retails around $300, if you can still find one) . This is a much lighter unit than the Bose. The Bluedio HS is a rigid plastic horseshoe and is not flexible like the Bose (but it is still comfortable for long periods of wear). The Bluedio HS can only connect to one device whereas the Bose can connect to two devices at once. Soundwise, they are not all that terribly different. The Bluedio HS seems to even have a better connection range than the Bose. The Bose is more comfortable than the BluedioHS, but if you are mostly just walking or sitting, you would'nt notice a difference. This type of wearable speaker is not designed to stay on during heavy activity. If you are jumping around, changing direction suddenly, leaning forwards or backwards a lot, this type of wearable speaker WILL fall off. If you are mostly just walking or sitting, this speaker is very comfortable and it is quite likely you will forget you are even wearing it.If you are looking for a wearable speaker that does not insert into your ears nor cover them, and allows you to maintain some degree of audio awareness of your surroundings, then this is certainly a great alternative, and at 7% of the cost of the hardware it is intended to compete with, you can't really go wrong.

I Love it,but at times it fall off your neck.

It looks and works better than I expected. I just wish there was some kind of strap or something to keep it from coming off the neck incase you are using it while working.

My husband loves this. He hated things in or on his ears. Now he can hear the tv and hear people in the room. So affordable. Not sure how long battery lasts. He basically uses about two hours and never had lost the charge.
