Bluedio HS Neckband Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Wireless Wearable Body Speaker with FM Radio/Micro SD Card, Lightweight Outdoor Speaker Private Music for Cycling, Hiking, Hand-free Call
SKU: GW53.0063
This is very loud (adjustable volume, of course) to the person wearing it, but not very loud at all to other people in the area. I work in a factory and I can hear my podcasts perfectly and about 3 feet away my co-worker can barely hear it. I can also hear surrounding sounds like announcements or alarms, which makes it "legal" at work since we aren't allowed to use earbuds or headphones of any kind. The only downfall is that if I tilt my head too far back it wants to slip off. I'm trying to figure out a way to fix this (without looking ridiculous) with a scarf or something. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it really is awesome.

No issues on Linux Mint 19.3 (none expected but as a Linux user, I add this for those newer transitioning users who might have questions). It's sturdy so it won't break (this was the reason I bought this - a similar product snapped in half).Nice loud sound. I cannot stress this enough. I bought a similar product (before it snapped in half) and it was fairly good but occasionally I needed to pump up the volume to overcome an AC or other ambient noise and it was never quite enough. This unit fits my use case perfectly! Also, many laptops simply don't have the loudness spec checked off. They'll brag about surround sound or some pseudo-nonsense tech, but fail to deliver on much needed decibels. If that wasn't bad enough, they'll hide their speakers underneath the laptop instead of finding a way to provide front-firing speakers. This neck headphone solves this long standing issue. You get loud rich sound while at the same time, minimizing any noise you might create for anyone else - since the speakers are right next to your ears. Unlike traditional headphones, you aren't blocking external sounds - so you can always hear a phone ring, a knock on the door, etc. Also charges fairly quickly. I never timed it but seems to recharge in 10 minutes for several hours of play.

*I ordered this on Sun. Oct 17th and it showed that I should get it by Weds., but instead got it the next day, just lucky that my local distribution center of Amazon had it in stock here in South Florida.*I'm writing this review on Nov. 16th, so just under a months usage.*I explain at the end of the review why I rated it a 4 instead of 5Every day I take my 16 year old, non verbal Autistic son out for a bike ride and a walk every day. I like how with the Bludio, I can listen to my music without covering my ears with speakers, so I can still hear what's going on around me. I go out every single day rain or shine for between 5-10 miles, or between 45 to 90 min on the bike and then for about an hour walk. Usually the battery only gets used up around 10-15% per hour, so I imagine that it could go on for several hours. Never had it die on my so I don't know. About a week ago, we were out biking and it started raining HARD... remnants of the last Tropical storm. The speaker got SOAKED and stopped working. When I got home, I hung it up on a hook with the port parts draining down. The next morning I wrapped left it out in the Sun, on top of a picnic table in my back yard. I had to bring it back in later because it started raining again, but repeated the process the next day. Within a couple of days the speaker started working again, once it was fully dried inside. Yesterday it started raining while we were out on our bike ride again, but this time I was prepared and wrapped the open ports in a sandwich bag.*I've also used this to listen to Youtube or Podcasts on my Alexa Show at a low volume in the kitchen, while the rest of my family is in the Family room watching TV.*Why I rated this a 4 and not 5When I first saw the Bose Soundwear, I thought it was a fantastic invention. I tried one out at Best Buy and REALLY wanted one, but couldn't see myself spending $400.00 on such an accessory. Even now, that it's dropped to $299.95 here on Amazon, for me is just way too much. I REALLY liked the soft flex design of the Bose and when I first saw this, I thought it was a copycat for a tenth the price so I bought it. What I didn't realize is that it's a very hard and inflexible plastic. While not as comfortable as the Bose, it's actually very comfortable ... just not what I was expecting, and as a side note I wear this both with and without a shirt, but usually without... especially when I'm, biking.*The main reason I rated it a 4 is because the speakers sound pretty flat with very little range. Again, my only other experience was with the Bose which costs 10X more, but I've even had ear pieces that have better Bass than this. It's not horrible, just a bit worse than I expected.*Final Thoughts. If you're looking for wearable speakers, but don't want to spend a fortune these are a very good buy. You are sacrificing a bit of Bass, compared to most headsets, but this has decent sound quality and is especially good if you want to listen to music, the TV or a Podcast at a low volume without disturbing others in the household. Great for biking, but not as good for running as it does tend to jump around on your shoulders a bit.

I needed to get some off ear headphones due to some problems associated to wearing closed headphones too much. These work. At their loudest they can't compete with traffic, but otherwise they work fine. Glad I tried them.

Sound quality and versatility. Did not like not being able to see the station I wanted to tune to.

For the price, it is great. It is much lighter than the Bose neckband speaker and the Monster Boomerang. One thing I really appreciate is that it works while charging. This means that if I am running low in power, I can attach a battery bank and keep on going. The call quality is great. Sound is great although the bass is lacking. It is plenty loud. FM radio works as well. The hard plastic does not bother me at all.

Works and sounds good. The only issue is the microphone, while on remote calls the sound is muffled.

Sounds excellent for an excellent price! Fits the neck nicely. Buttons are close together and the multifunction button takes getting used to... I accidentally called someone lolCall sound is good but the person I accidentally called had trouble understanding me- but I'll have to wait till I make a real call to review that. Paired easily with my phone. Will probably buy a few more for the drivers I work with.
