Good for use with microscopes in the house, garden and domestic animals (chickens/bees). Very uncomplicated connection with tablet smartphone. The real magnification is probably somewhere around 60x-80x, higher magnifications are only possible virtually by expanding the screen, whereby the pixelation quickly becomes annoying. However, this is also completely sufficient for freehand use, a higher magnification is nonsensical anyway. Seems to be very well made.

This was really easy to set up. Just scan the QR code and install the app on your phone. It's also very easy to connect to my PC with the Windows10 camera software. I am very happy with the quality of the images, although the images taken with the PC seem to be of better quality (sheet image attached). The others were recorded via a WiFi connection to the phone. You don't have to touch the camera, so you don't shake it. Excellent stand, easy to zoom in by moving the camera closer or further away and then refocus using the controls on the camera. The digital zoom doesn't seem to offer any further magnification, just detracts from the image quality, so I won't be using it. Since I was very skeptical about this,

Really easy to use. And the magnification range is very useful (50x > 1000x).

I wanted a small, easy to use unit that was powerful enough to help with my hobby of repairing and cleaning watches and clocks.
I first tried a cell phone clip-on unit - which was frankly hopeless.
So I would try this microscope. Definitely the right decision.

I bought this little microscope so I could get a better look at the close-ups I do with electronic repairs. As someone who works on multiple screens all day, my vision isn't what it used to be and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to focus on very small objects. I thought a digital microscope would be helpful in this regard. I didn't need anything too high quality with all the bells and whistles, just something I could solder with more precision.

This microscope is very easy to set up and install. The software for a PC and a phone is easy to find and install. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and I was able to get everything up and running in minutes. The USB cable that came with the kit I received was the wrong type, but the seller's customer service was exceptional and I received a new one within days.

I am very satisfied that I have exactly what I need for the purpose I intend to use it for and think it will be of great help in the close up and precision work I am doing.

The only negative I can think of is that it's a bit of a shame that the zoom functions don't work when connected via the USB cable and that's why it loses a single star in the zoom score from me. It's still very useful, but it would have been nice to have the same zoom capability as when using the Wi-Fi connectivity on my phone.

Overall though, a great kit for the price and I'm very happy with it.

I can't comment on the actual resolution.
But the fun factor is great, since the device is wireless and mobile, and thus invites you to go on a journey of discovery.

The resolution of the camera could be better, but it's enough for soldering SMD components with a computer or notebook. Unfortunately, WiFi didn't work on my smartphone (Apple), nor with an IPAD-3. Probably too old because the WiFi function didn't
work i will send it back.

This is a great "gadget" to have. Magnifies really well. Just a bit fiddly to connect to Bluetooth and get pictures, but once you figure it out, it's a godsend to those of us with less than stellar eyesight.

I've had many many usb and wireless microscope/cameras. Some costing nearly $100. This one is different and better than all previous types I've owned.(Only exception is the wireless type with dongle, those worked with PCs. But, they were lower quality than this one)This is a new design which has the manual zoom/focus wheel all the way around the exterior of the unit. Not a little section your thumb can fit on to. Does it make a difference? For sure in ease of use and comfort. This microscope/camera is 1 7/16" in diameter, which I find much easier to use for longer periods of time. The zoom/focus action is super precise and smooth which allows for making the tiniest of adjustments compared to any other I've owned. This makes getting the best possible image fast and easy when compared to the same old design that had stiff and jerky adjustment wheels.It "feels" like higher quality materials, fit and finish. I don't know if that's a fact yet, time will tell.It's certainly a newer design and in my estimation, a better design too.
