I wanted to get my eight year old granddaughter a microscope, but the first one purchased was returned because of it's complex operation. So, because of Amazon's return capabilities I ordered three more at different price points with the thought that THIS one, due to it's low price, would probably be pretty worthless. WOW, was I mistaken. This is a very easy to use pocket microscope that she can take with her out into the woods and pastures to explore the world around her - exactly what I realized I really wanted for her - without all the complex and frustrating features that will allow her to have fun! In fact, I liked it SO well that I bought a second one for me to use on on hikes and such. This is NOT a high-powered scientific instrument, but in this case it fits the bill perfectly. I should also point out that Amazon processed the returns very easily on the others.

This microscope is truly exceptional for the price. I bought it just for some fun with my daughter and I. It is so easy to use and works so well that I am using it for other regular purposes such as reading very small print on electronics and examining parts and material when making small home repairs. Exceptional value! If you are a biologist or seriously into microscopy, this is probably not for you. But for the majority of people, this is perfect.

A great little magnifying camera. It was up and running in moments, and after downloading the app I was capturing images and videos easily. I like the wraparound focus control, which makes adjusting the image simple.I bought it mainly to verify the sharpness of knife blades to be able to fine-tune my sharpening process to achieve the sharpest possible edge. With this camera I can see the results every step of the way.

I bought the microscope to view coins. This makes everything visibly more clear and pronounced. Outstanding
