1st image is a piece of foam rubber. I could hardly believe it. And the 2nd image is cigarette ashes. It's like discovering an new planet. I recommend getting the microscope stand for good steady shots. I wish that the resolution was higher. Grea deal for the price.

I would have given the microscope five stars, but repeatedly encounter one very annoying problem. The image being projected will only last about one minute before the image locks up. At that point one must perform the whole setup process all over again. Bought the microscope because my young grandsons (3 1/2 & 6) had shown an interest in viewing greatly enlarged objects. The viewing time makes it very annoying to use.

It's very easy to use and has an awesome picture. The app is nice and it's awesome that you can take pictures and record video. A lot of functions for such an inexpensive device! The only think I don't like is that I have to disconnect from my home wifi just to connect to the microscope. Wish it was bluetooth.

Great little microscope camera. Very easy to use and set up. The app is also very easy to use. The best quality for its price.

I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much from such an inexpensive microscope... and i rolled my eyes when the first one I received wouldn't even turn on. However, Ankylin replaced it immediately, and the second one I received is great! Very clear, even illumination, and so easy to use. On my PC, it simply shows up in the system as a webcam, so you could use most any cam app with it. Wifi connection to my phone was easy, too, and it's amazingly convenient for field studies! Image is clear and bright for a small sensor, and the camera will actually focus all the way to infinity, so it's really not JUST a microscope.
