Microscope has much more magnification than the images in the description imply.If you want to look at a full coin, for instance, you would need to hold at a distance which would require a very steady hand or a stand. If you want to look at minute details with high magnification with the scope placed on a surface this works great!I have it paired with an Android tablet and the software works as expected.

Got for my daughter's 7th birthday. We were camping and took these pictures on a picnic table. So easy to use. My kids were able to set it up and focus it independently. Pictures are of a wasp nest, grass, flower pedal, dandelion bud and grain of salt.

very easy to connect to android phone, good image quality, focus distance is easy with the cover on, some magnifications require you to lift and hold in the air, but image and focus speed is good enough.

The app doesn’t work on iPhone, iPad or android. It has a 2 star rating. It is useless without the app. Have to return it.
