Very well made product, especially for the price. The app for viewing is easy to use and makes magnifying almost anything as easy and convenient as sending a text message.

Pretty neat little camera. Wildly blurry until you zoom in a lot closer to coin when it’s directly over the coin and not on a stand.

Before I received this, I wondered if it would really have any benefit over just just using a phone. After using it for a few days, I feel it does offer better photos, primarily because of the adjustable LED light source. I selected this microscope as a trial for use by inspectors at my workplace so that they could capture quick pictures of things they reject. The set up to use with iPhone when without a hitch. The camera itself feels fairly solid in your hand. Photos are easy to capture. Examples I have attached are of my mouse pad (yikes! Look at that FOD ), connector cavities and shield wires on an electronic cable. In the end I decided to not purchase more for my team, opting for one that does not require connection to a phone or computer. However I plan to keep this one for personal use and look forward to some cool photos.

Love it. Had to download 7-zip to extract/install the .rar file for Windows. Other than that it's very easy to use. Once adjusted the picture is very clear. Picture included is the QR sticker on my laptop.

My fiancé and I got this to handle a different situation, but when we were playing around with it to get used to it, we put one of his many, many, many rocks under it and it was mind-blowing. Being able to see the different striations, occlusions, even hair-line fractures up close and personal was an experience. Many of the rocks that he has ended up having bits of colors and fossils that we had no idea they had.The picture quality is exceptional, both on the phone and on a laptop. I would imagine it would be incredible on a large screen TV or even a projector. We are quite impressed with this microscope, we are thrilled we got it.
