I wanted to check the knife edge during sharpening for a bur and the overall edge angle.Worked perfect. Image is at 50X, at 100X was even better.App on Android did crash when trying look at saved picture but turning on the scope got me past that.Overall happy with the price and operation.

I seldom make reviews but I am really impressed with this unit. Ordered this unit to replace my 640x480 USB microscope because I wanted wireless capability and a higher native optical quality. From the description it appeared the sensor pixel count was 720 x 1280 which is a three fold increase in detail from my 640 x 480. Once I unpacked it, loaded the app from Google Play and turned it on it connected instantly. First thing I was very impressed with was the smoothness of the zoom knob and the ease of changing the lighting level. After I took a few pictures of the tablecloth and placemats (nearest things at hand) I pulled up the pictures to see what the native resolution was. I was super pleased to find it is 1536 x 2048! That's over 10 times the resolution of my little 640 x 480 unit. The picture quality is excellent. I'm a happy guy. Just ordered a second one and the stand for it. It's great to find an excellent deal once in awhile.

This microscope is very good for its price, although it is inferior as compared to more expensive models. Although it has magnification up to 1000x, you cannot get a sharp image at high magnification when holding it in your hands because of the shakiness of hands. The greatest magnification that I was able to get is as shown in the picture, which is a small segment of a metric ruler. The distance between adjacent lines in the picture is one millimeter. The weight of the microscope is 3.0 oz (86 g), its length is 4.9" (12.5 cm), and its width is 1.4" (3.5 cm).

The ease of use of this product was surprising. High quality video and photo capturing ability. I will buddy. I work in pest control and would highly recommend this to any of my colleagues.

I got this for my five year old who loves all things science and she loved this! The picture I attached is a close up of our betta fish’s tail. I had a ton of fun with it also!

I’ve purchased several, I mean several scopes and this is finally the one that out preforms ever other scope on the market!!! I couldn’t be happier :)

This thing is neat... I have used it to check coin and plants. Awesome product....just a little hard to control as there is no stand.. but if you have a steady hand this is perfect.
