The adapter is made with great build quality that matches my Sony A7 camera. I use the adapter for my East Germany lenses from Praktica/Pentacon. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to use vintage lenses with a Sony full frame mirror less cameras.

Helios 44 series can be finicky lenses to adapt based on when they were made. My lens is a Helios MC 44-3 from 1987. Cheap adapters do not function correctly with this lens. I bought this one, and didn't even need to make adjustments at all. Locks tight onto the lens, no play or wiggle, and allows me to adjust focus with no issues. Not sure if it actually adds any contrast with the interior coating, but it doesn't as I love the photos that it renders. You pay for what you get, don't buy cheap.
Works perfectly for Sony FX3 and Helios 44-3

I inherited an old Canon AE1 program from my grandmother and several lenses. While the AE1 itself is great, film has gotten expensive and there is only one place in town charging $15 per roll to develop so the AE1 has been relegated to special circumstances only.

My ZVE10 however gets a lot of use and despite needing to manually focus and adjust the aperture on the old FD lenses, it's nice to have these lenses as an option on a modern camera.

MD-NEX IV (MD-E mount) slides right onto my A6600. Minolta 1.7 50mm lens slides right on. Great quality piece of gear that has a solid build.
Works great with SONY A6600

Pretty decent price and quite solid build, has minor play with my Helios lens but seems minimal and allows me to use all my M42 lenses with no issues. Well packaged, beautiful and shiny! Ps. the color match of the orange to the Sony flange is also very close and goes well together.

Got the a6000 fitted with a Micro-Nikkor 55mm 2.8... and what a great combination as a portable telephoto or portrait camera... this lens is so sharp and a steal if you can find one. Of course, the converter means you set the aperture ring and shutter speed manually and use focus peaking on the camera. It does seem to focus a little backwards, so keep that in mind and make sure the focus color is showing both in front of your subject and on top of your subject. The adapter is well made and will help bring some of your old glass to life on a mirrorless camera.

I took a chance on this one. I needed an adapter that fit with the Pentax Super Micro Coated Takumar 50mm f1.4. This fits and allows the aperture ring to turn without interference as many of the adapters do. No lens modification needed. Well built. Nice design and bonus, the Sony orange ring at the base.
Good quality M42 to Sony E mount adapter.

The adapter simply does what it is supposed to - it connects manual A-mount/Minolta MD lenses to the Sony alphas. The adapter feels high quality and looks just as good. The copper accent harmonizes perfectly with the ring of the E-mount. The adapter sits really firmly on my a7RV and the Minolta on the other side also sits tightly and without play. That's exactly how it should be. It is a purely mechanical connection. No electronic data is transferred to the camera. Highly recommended.
Fits perfectly and looks good
