SKU: KF09.103
Well, I only buy things when I really need them.
►What do you get?
The box includes a nice carrying case, the tripod and the quick release.
Personally, I use the tripod the most and when I need to create content for social media I also use the quick release for my phone.
►How light is the tripod?
Compared to what I have used so far, it is very light weight. I would definitely recommend this especially for travelers, at 1.33kg it is wow!!
►What is carbon on this tripod?
The tubes, the rest is good quality aluminum.
►The head?
When you see or for the first time it may seem small, but from what I have experienced it does a good job. It goes 360 degrees and has markings all around, which is very useful, especially for panoramas or wide landscapes.
This really helps me when I need to film from a specific angle and then I turn the head to get a different angle and I literally take a picture from the angle the camera was previously at. This way I don’t have to worry about getting a different angle.
There is a nice branding on the plate of the head, made of rubber which keeps your camera from sliding around.
The lock works really well. When I move my almost 3kg camera to portrait mode, all the weight goes to one side and when I lock the head, it literally stays where I wanted it to. The rotation of the head is smooth, so your smooth video is not interrupted in any way.
►The middle part of the tripod?
The lock which is in the middle is easy to reach and release or lock,
There is also a wheel lock with rubber on top which allows you to make the tripod taller. I highly recommend keeping it locked down to prevent your camera from sliding down.
►The legs?
These have 4 sections and allow you to be very specific with the height.
The best thing is that when you open them, they slide down very quickly, so you don't have to pull them. For me this saves a lot of time, which I always do, I unlock all 3 legs of all sections and just leave them open. Also when you adjust the height, the legs run very smoothly.
At the bottom, these are provided with a good sturdy rubber so that the tripod does not slide. I mainly use it in the kitchen where I film a cooking program and the tripod stays well on the tiles. Also use a backpack with a capacity of about 5-7 kg for this to stabilize it well. There is a hook with which you can attach things (like in my case the backpack for more stability).
►How stable is it?
For what I use it for it is fine. Now I can't say anything about taking it with me on walks where the wind can be a problem.
I use it strictly in the kithen and I move it quite a lot to capture different angles.
►Why did I buy this instead of others?
It is very simple, because it is light and compact. Sometimes I have to travel to my clients for food shots and I have to carry the stuff with me and I wanted something to save weight and size. This tripod is what I needed.
►The quick release?
Well built and looks nice too, I would say to use it more with the phones. It is very practical to have it at hand and I think it is a good addition that you get this with the tripod.
►The carrying case?
Good!! You can easily put the tripod on it (only folded properly) and maybe some other small stuff, there is still room to spare.
► Overall experience with this?
Was a bit surprised to realize how light and compact this is. Easy to use and stable enough for my static setup and the 3kg camera that I use most.
►Cons? I have not found any so far.
I'll update this review in a few months to let you know in time how this performs.

Preface:
Hello friends, I have been doing photography for about 2 years and this has also become my daily hobby. That is why I wanted to improve my existing equipment. In the beginning I had a tripod for € 20, - and gained my first experience with it. Like many of you, I also wanted more possibilities and more comfort in photography. Now I want to describe my experiences and the differences with a € 20 tripod for beginners. This way you can decide for yourself whether a more expensive tripod is worth it for you.
Quality and differences with cheap tripods:
After the product arrived I noticed the first difference, the material of the bag was a bit thicker and of higher quality. After I unpacked the tripod, I assessed the workmanship and how much play the tripod had. I have absolutely nothing to complain about the processing of the metals and it is at a very high level. A few plastic elements show that not everything is perfectly processed. Compared to my cheap tripod, the legs can be folded out individually, which in my opinion gives me many more possibilities. The ball head is also much easier, more specific and above all more comfortable to adjust than my cheap one. Here I have to adjust 2 axes separately with the lever, which becomes a bit annoying in the long run. What fascinated me most, however, was the possibility to turn the tripod and get very close to the ground. These possibilities are usually not offered with cheap tripods. So I can finally take calm macro shots and take photos from completely new perspectives. In addition, the dimensions of the packaging were decisive for my purchase, because I would like to use them while traveling. The attachment that is screwed into the camera is provided with a very good rubber coating with profile so that the camera does not turn out by itself even if it is turned 90° on the tripod and is equipped with a large lens (some of you will probably do that) know this). ). Due to the compact size, K&F has also come up with a solution for windy days, because this tripod is equipped with a hook on the underside of the neck, to which you can attach your bag or something similar. Overall, I see many advantages in this tripod compared to the tripods in the lowest price range:
+ Individually foldable legs = More possibilities
+ Ball head for more comfortable adjustment
+ Small pack size and light
+ Generally very stable, even with a straight neck
+ New perspectives possible by turning the neck 180°
+ Well thought-out and convincing design

The real trend of recent years is the travel tripod, which stands out for:
- lightness
- compactness
These two features make it the best choice for travellers, because it takes up little space in the luggage, but also for those who take long walks, not for this reason my choice fell on the Carbon Fiber Camera Tripod SA254C2
a really light photo tripod. Its weight is 1.3kg/2.9lbs, which makes it the ideal companion for long hikes, travel photography and general landscape photography. The quality of the K&F tripod is high, far superior to the price at which it's sold. Excellent both from the point of portability and handling

This is a great little tripod for the price. It’s super light and breaks down easily.

This tripod is an outstanding value. The fit and finish is good to excellent. The mechanics of movement of all the moving pieces is smooth and easy to operate.

this is a great mid-weight, stable, in-expensive rig, solid enough for most normal camera and light astrophotography set ups, and light enough you can pack it in with you to remote locations.

The tripod is very lightweight, compact, easy to use, and inexpensive. I use it with my Nikon. HEAVY! But this tripod handles the weight easily.
