Am positively surprised, magnification is good, image quality ok. App installed connected to WiFi and it started immediately. But it's more of a macro lens than a microscope.

I first bought this product for general enlargement and inspection work but I quickly found that this is also an amazing educational toy and my niece enjoys playing with it. She is very curious to look at everything under high magnification to see what it looks like.
I think one day she will become a scientist : -D
The value for money is really that good!
Definitely good for yourself, but also as a gift for children over a certain age.

I needed to look at various small items around the home and provide pictures so other people could understand what I was talking about and explain it to me. It works well for that.

I purchased this microscope primarily to view the leaves, flowers, pollen etc in my garden and the critters that live in and on them.
Firstly, the order arrived the next day, less than 24 hours after the order was first placed & I was able to use it right out of the box after downloading the app.
The image quality is very nice and sharp and, importantly, you can capture images directly from the app without touching the microscope that would cause the image to be blurry.
The eight LEDs are very helpful in darker areas and you can adjust the brightness from your smartphone too.
It's easy to use, captures nice quality images and is very versatile. Very pleased overall.

This has stepped up my numismatic game quite a bit. I spend hours looking at coins through this scope and it performs very well. Picture quality is good. The base is prone to scratches while sliding hundredss of coins across it. I don't expect the printed grid to last much longer, but that's okay. Reasonably, I'm putting this thing thru its paces and I completely expected this to happen. Overall, I'm pleased with it.

So there I was... in my lab, granulating pulverized limestone in little soluble prills. They looked good, they were strong, and they were soluble - hitting allt he important points. But I wondered what they looked like under magnification. Well, $42ish bucks and a few days later, I knew the answer to that question. They were rough and not very spherical. I doesn't really matter, but I hey got a new toy and my curiosity satisfied.
Seriously though, this is a great microscope for the price. The bluetooth connection to my phone makes it really useful. Now, we're not talking science lab magnifications, but I bet your kid could make one heck of a science fair project with this bad boy. Totally worth it, would buy another immediately if I needed to.

While looking for a digital microscope to do very tiny SMD electronics work with, I was mainly reading reviews and comparing actual screen resolution of the offers that bothered to list such important details. I appreciate the honesty of the seller in stating that this scope has lower resolution when using as a USB cam on a PC, and in spite of that, it is a much clearer and easier to see image than I had expected. My purchase decision was a balance of features for the price, with comparable scopes with any better resolution costing nearly $100 usd or more.
The only issue I had was that the clip on the stand which holds the scope is very fragile and mine was damaged in shipping, but it was easy enough for me to attach the scope using rubber bands, and I am enjoying using it anyhow, so it's not worth dropping from a 5 star review, since all else is much better than expected.

I was surprised how much I like this, it is worth the price and we have a blast with it. Yeah it’s not going to be a super high tech expensive microscope but it still does amazing things! I liked the picture and video feature a lot and it’s easy to zoom in. I really like I was able to look at a sore on my back. It’s fun to look at hair follicles and insects.

You can see what you can't see with the naked eye and you can easily get into something.
It's a brilliant idea and I consider it one of the best I've ever wanted to try.
