It's just that easy. Install the app then plug in the camera. The camera is just what I needed to scope out inside my walls to find air gaps. I've also used it to check out my drains by connecting it to a snake.

I was looking for something that would be good for troubleshooting Mechanical issues without having to disassemble my truck's engine compartment. I found this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It worked seamlessly with the app on my phone and is pretty robust for an amateur mechanic. I'm not a professional by any means and I needed something immediately, this was offered on Amazon's Prime Shipping.
The product withstood transmission fluid immersion (happened twice), just needed to be wiped off. The cable was able to be bent and held the shape I needed to feed it so I could see. Fantastic product. I wish the camera had been a higher resolution but it got the job done.

For the price this is not a bad camera. Used it to check the inside of an atv engine case. Just wish it had multiple camera angles to view from.

I was very surprised at how clear and useful the images obtained with it were! As a technician, I use it to inspect the tight Spaces of commercial airliners, and it's still an amazing little piece of technology, and very convenient. It has helped me many times to examine areas I wouldn't otherwise be able to see.

So I'm always working on projects where I need to look in small and tight places. Decided to try this scope camera! Attaches to my iPhone via the lightening port but have to be careful not to wiggle it around too much as it comes disconnected easily. Once connected, you utilize their own app to view the image. Don't expect the greatest quality of image if you're snapping photos, but it does the job and looking behind walls, etc. Like the fact that I can increase or decrease the brightness of the light at the end. Plenty of wire to get where I need to go. Also comes with some tip attachments which is handy. Haven't tried it in a wet environment yet, but advertised as water proof. Great little camera to have when I need to see what may be going on in hard to see areas. Glad I got it!
