I finally got a chance to use my new endoscope. I dropped a small screw, and it went down inside the PC case below the motherboard. I could have removed the motherboard but that would take a while and might cause more problems. The camera cable and camera were thin enough to get down into the space between the motherboard and the case wall. I used the tip with the magnet and presto changeo, the problem was solved. I wish I had remembered to take a picture!

Connection is easy, the app can be easily installed on the smartphone (Android 11). Connection via WiFi, which unfortunately means that simultaneous Internet is not possible (no Bluetooth). Charging cable included, battery lasts a relatively long time. worth processing. Yellow cable is long enough, very stable, relatively stiff, fully functional for my purpose. Simple handling, the app is self-explanatory, the LED brightness can be continuously adjusted via the rotary wheel. High resolution that promises a visually good picture. Screenshots and video recordings via the app are possible. Device gets relatively warm, but remains stable. Buy recommendation so far.

The camera works great! Only when you have things moving in front of the camera do the images stutter a little, but for my purposes this is more than enough! Nice long cable and waterproof, I'm happy!

Works as intended. But if I were to purchase again, I would opt for a unit that has a handle and its own viewing screen. Don't get me wrong, it works, but the balancing act of holding or mounting the phone while moving the camera and trying to figure out the views orientation was a bit rough. Wish it had a mark or indicator to tell top to bottom, but it did save me an unnecessary expensive Mercedes Benz part replacement.

This thing works well. The wifi connection is very helpful. Get the longest one you can afford. We always need more length.

This works great, not a large depth of focus but for every day needs, the image works great. The screen can get washed out with bright lights, but decent. Everything you need comes in the box.

Should have bought this years ago but glad I waited. This unit has so many uses from working on cars, locating dropped fasteners, dryer vent inspection, gutter downspout inspection, etc. Love the semi-rigid flexibility of the camera head cable. Picture quality is real good for a unit of this price. Gives you eyes where you normally couldn't get a view before. As you get older, this helps find dropped items under tight spots that save your joints from getting on your hands and knees. Connected fine using the Depstech app. Well worth the money

Very easy to use. No issues after using it about once a week for the past month. It’s nice to be able to pull wires through walls with this as well. The adjustable light makes it easy to get around, and the app features make it easy to tell what I’m looking at. So far I’ve used it to inspect and clean my dryer duct, check for mold behind walls and under floors, and string wires for my tv mount behind the wall.

Some endoscopes may be advertised as for iOS, but when received really aren't - they're meant for PC, Android - or Mac. This one IS for iOS! Here's a description of the item.The endoscope comes in a sturdy, white carboard box with a slip-on oversleeve - good for storage (don't tear it up!). It has a rigid, but still flexible, cable; comes with 4 different, screw-on ends to a) waterproof the camera and protect the external threads, b) provide a 90-degree mirror, c) add a magnetic end, and d) provide a cable-pull hook. Although the name of the App for Inskam (the maker) has changed on the Apple Store, it was easy to find, downloaded quickly and gave no issues.The sequence to use the endoscope is a little difficult to understand from the text (jargon gets a bit technical and loops back to cover different situations - it's all there but a little confusing) but is, in reality, simple:1. Charge the Wi-Fi module with the included USB-A cable2. Turn on the Wi-Fi module by holding the square switch for 2-3 seconds - it displays status in a text window3. On the iPhone go to Settings/Wi-Fi, Turn on if necessary, and join the Inskam network4. Start the Inskam App on the iPhone5. Access video in the Inskam App (click to view)It's that simple, really EASY! The Camera states that it has a "best range" of 3-6mm, but gives a clear view of my monitor 14" away, and items beyond (low res but acceptable). Near items are sharp. I haven't tried to access 1200p resolution as yet - haven't needed to!So, good, easy, inexpensive endoscope that works for iOS.

bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas, and the first thing he tried it on was our teenagers ear! And then his nose! Our teenager actually laughed!! Perfect for auto work or getting into small spaces. Easy to use
