DM101 Digital USB Microscope Camera Coin Magnifier, 10X-500X Magnification, PC Compatible
SKU: GW45.0028
Works great, going back through all my coins to see what I missed. The pic is the first error I found with the TOMLOV DM4S.

Great microscope for viewing coins up close or entire coin images. Coin collectors will love this. Easy to use.

This is better than I expected. Given the task of sorting through 10,000 old pennies, this digital microscope was a lifesaver. It worked perfectly and the value of only 3 coins I found was more than paid for. I could set the height (image size) and focus, then put every penny on the base. I could make a coin about every 2 seconds. The image is clear and sharp, and the height adjustment allows for a full view of the coin. When I first plugged it in, Windows 10 found it and completed setup automatically. But when I opened the camera app, I only got the rear-facing image from the laptop's built-in camera. I had to switch the camera to the front-facing image and then switch back, to get the image of the microscope. I can unreservedly recommend this digital scope.

I bought this item in November but was not able to use it until mid-January due to health issues. It was fine at first. Then as I used it more the lights would flicker off and on and now they won't come on at all. The screw for locking the screen does not do its job and moves with every small movement. It freezes a lot and sometimes it doesn't focus properly. Very frustrated since I use it for my work. I have emailed the company and will see if they can replace it and see how that goes. I will update my post at that time. So far I'm very disappointed, but customer service is everything to me. Let's see what they do.

I gave it away so can't tell if it works unless I look at it. But I ordered it to arrive in a day and it was promptly shipped on time. And appears to be in perfect condition. Very impressive!

Since I sometimes have circuits (PCBs) that don't work properly, I was looking for a way to scale them up.
But I didn't want a craft magnifying glass.
Then I saw this microscope and thought to myself, you can magnify other things with it.
And what can I say, I am totally satisfied with this microscope.
Simply assembled, started with the computer via USB (Win10) and selected, for example, the standard camera application of Windows 10 USB microscope and you already have an image.
You can illuminate your object well with the dimmable LED light and you can regulate the sharpness with the adjusting screw.
In any case, I am very satisfied.
Tip:
With an OTG adapter, you can connect the microscope to a smartphone via USB and also take pictures.
