We ordered the camera for our home, not so much as a surveillance system, but more to see what our dog is doing at home when we are away for a longer period of time. The camera is very easy to install and works perfectly via the cell phone, so you can easily connect to it to check what your home looks like. Its size and appearance make it unobtrusive and very nicely made. We have it on a shelf, where you only notice it if you look closely. It records even the smallest movements and signals them to the phone. It can also record videos. It should also be mentioned that the quality of the image is also very good and images can be seen even in the dark. A personal highlight is the solar panel, which allows the camera to be installed anywhere without a power outlet.

The surveillance camera is powered by the built-in battery, which can either be charged using a power supply or the solar panel included in the set. A mounting base for the solar panel is included, as well as a 1 m long micro USB cable. To set up the camera, you need to download an app, for which the QR code is printed on page 24 of the enclosed instructions for use. Once the camera has been set up, it can be controlled using the app. To do this, it must be registered in the home network (2.4 GHz). You can choose between SD and HD for the video resolution. You can also have so-called intercom conversations. This works in both directions. It also has a so-called motion mode. It detects movements and automatically displays the image in the app. The camera has a night mode thanks to infrared lighting. 2 bright LEDs can also be activated for even better visibility. The images can be recorded on an SD card with a maximum size of 128 GB in the camera, or you can use cloud storage. Furthermore, the app can be used to control the camera's viewing angle to the left and right (almost 360 degrees) and up and down (120 degrees). The image displayed in the app is clear and precise. Thanks to its independence from a power grid, it can be used for particularly dark corners. The camera's operating time is stated as around 200 days when switched on 10 times a day for 15 seconds each. The camera is waterproof to IP 66.

My main criticism of this camera is the image quality, which for me could be significantly better and sharper both day and night for a camera that is supposed to have 2K but does not produce images as razor-sharp as the HD cameras I have used so far. The license plate image shown in the product description is completely unrealistic and does not correspond to the actual image quality. Actually, none of the product images correspond to the realistic image quality. The camera can also be operated with a memory card, which means you do not necessarily have to use the cloud service, which I would honestly recommend because it is not really clear where the data is stored in the cloud or whose data protection rules apply to storing the data, which can quickly bring the data protection officer into action, especially here in Germany, when it comes to surveillance cameras.

Delivery, commissioning, downloading the app, using the software... everything works and without any problems. Great picture during the day, it works better in night mode. Otherwise the real-time notification is extensive. I am very satisfied.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Setting up the camera is quick and basically self-explanatory. You need a corresponding app to use the camera, which is not complicated in its application, but rather clear. You can then use this app to move the camera and have motion notifications sent to you. The camera is simply connected to the home WLAN. Connecting is also quick and easy. Charging via the solar panels works wonderfully. We positioned the camera so that it gets as much sun as possible for as long as possible. So far, the camera has always received enough without it going out. The resolution of the camera is also absolutely satisfactory and I was positively surprised and thanks to the night vision function you can also use the camera in the dark. It is also good that you can also talk via the camera via the app. In return, the sound quality recorded by the camera is not exceptionally good, but it is really okay. The SD storage space in the camera is also useful for storing recorded videos. The motion detector works absolutely reliably. I also liked the fact that you can adjust the sensitivity yourself. I can wholeheartedly recommend this surveillance camera.

Easy installation. So far no error message from cats or the like. Good night vision. Mobile app very good. The only drawback: You can't set an alarm to come on several times in a row and you can't adjust the alarm tone. Otherwise very good part.
