Overall we are happy with the purchase. We've gotten good pictures/video of critters in our backyard in the night time which is what we wanted. My husband didn't seem to have any trouble with setup. The only thing I would caution is that this device eats up batteries big time; just be prepared for that. It takes eight AA batteries and we just replaced the first batch after about 2-3 weeks of use (not that we used it every single night but did use it several nights during that time period).

Update: it turns out rechargeable batteries worked fine!For the price and for my needs, this is a very good trail cam. I got it to figure out what has been eating my tomato plants in the middle of the night. Turns out it was squirrels and a raccoon! I like that this has two mounting options. It the woods, I would probably use the strap, but in my yard I was able to use the mount to affix it to my fence. The controls are simple and picture quality and night vision are about what you would expect from a budget trail cam. The one downside is that it requires 8 AA batteries and rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Aside from that, I am pleased.

We purchased several of these cameras to help identify what critters occupy some rural property we recently purchased. I selected this brand because I had tried it previously with good results and I like that it uses a standard size SD data card. Other brands often opt for the micro cards, which I find too small to handle easily. I saved a little money by purchasing the black color instead of camo and they are both equally difficult to spot in my experience. The camera is easy to set up. We've had good results with both daytime and night shots, including our very first sighting of a mountain lion after more than 25 years of looking. The cameras have detected creatures as small as mice and many others, including skunks, owls and, of course, hundreds of rabbits. We eagerly look forward to checking our camera shots on a regular basis. The findings have caused me to further improve my safety protocols when hiking because I now have a clear view of who else is out there!

After recent evening activities in my yard, that I wasn't a part of or had invited the attendees to, I decided to put up the game camera. So far I haven't been able to capture the partiers on film...but I'll keep trying!

Simple trail cam, easy to use, works perfectly. I’m setting it up by the end of my property to check what’s back there and plan on having it by my lifestock and chicken pen as well to figure out what’s passing by. Overall it works well, you need 8 batteries and the as card

I haven't taken out to the woods to set up yet, only tested out at home for a bit. It captured several pictures of my cats without issue in a lighting similar to moonlight level. Going to put out in the woods this week and will hopefully have an update soon with some pics.

This trail camera has been excellent. I have had something living under my shed for weeks that kept coming out and eating my vegetables in the garden. I installed this on the fence and it caught the culprit red handed. I called my friend who is an exterminator yesterday and he is coming tomorrow to set up a have a heart trap to help me relocate this groundhog who has been causing me all these problems.

I got the idea of hunting and decided to buy some camera with night vision and other features for hunting. I didn't have to search for a long time and I quackly found this camera. This product in my opinion is the best deal! This one has many useful features for hunters. Video quality is actually satisfying, full HD is useful if you want to see small details, especially I was amazed by the night vision quality! I recommend this camera to every hunter or any other, this camera is actually useful for everyone!

I thought it was easy to setup but once ready to go, it seemed a little tricky getting it turned on to record, but figured it out. Love the ability to capture pics and video at the same time. The daytime images are crisp and clear, and the nighttime ones have excellent resolution. These pictures were all from the first night I had this camera. This is well worth every penny. It is good quality and easy to operate. It has given me something to look forward to each day wondering what new things I might see. I would recommend this trail camera. I am very happy with it.

This camera is one of the best for the money! I have a few of them and they perform flawlessly. Great day and night videos and pictures. These cameras have not let me down yet!!
