Smaller than I thought, but that might work well. Extremely portable and should prove very useful when less gear is required.

take a lot of social pictures of friends and always bring a long range LED light. I wanted to recreate the Flash look of the 90's - a narrow light, overexposed on people and darker in the background - it works great. This is also very good for replacing larger flash or LED units as it is very small but packs a punch. I also love the "VIJIM VL120 RGB LED Video Light Mini Video Light Dimmable" - and am now swapping back and forth. While I wanted '90s looks, this makes wonderful, front-lit, beautiful social photos that are properly exposed.

was on the fence about buying the Lume ones but decided to take a chance with this one and WOW! Very happy with this purchase! The accessory kit is great too, very versatile.

I was a bit skeptical because of the mixed reviews on build quality. At over half the cost, I can't imagine the Lume Cube being much better. This one seems bright enough for everything you could want from a light this small. The charging cable attaches to the case with tiny magnets, which seems to be working well so far. Only time will tell how long this thing lasts, but for the price I've paid it's worth it so far. The accessories are okay, but I don't really think many are useful for what you're likely to be using this light for.

This is a nice light for the price made even better by the included body and accessories. For my use and what I believe it is best used for, I think it will work great to have. Keep in mind that this is a small light and is not intended to light up a room with more than 4 people in the scene. It can help in low light, but that's not what it's designed for. I'll light a few people in a scene well, but it's best used for fill light, accent light, or to illuminate small objects. It also works well for macro shots. The magnetic attachments are nice, but as others have mentioned, they're not that strong. Speaking of magnets, apparently the back of the device is magnetic for easy attachment to things, but it's so weak it's useless.

The light quality is very good. I'm tempted to get a second one to light my desk from both sides when I'm not using it for other purposes. The accessories, not so great. The honeycomb, barndoors and stem leak light sideways where their magnetic attachment is. If you don't want side leakage, you'll have to skip the fasteners. The magnetic force attachment is weak and can only be used if the wire is rolled around the stand a few times.
