As with many, you can also use an online service or online cloud - but this costs money. I don't know how much as we never use it. The setup via app is relatively good, not difficult but not too easy either. Some require extra permissions. Otherwise you can see live images via the app and also pan/rotate the camera etc. In the event of an alarm or movement, for example overnight, a video is recorded and stored on the SD card. You can set whether you want to have infrared or LED spotlight. We are currently testing the LED spotlight method. We live on the edge of the forest and in the last 5-6 years some people have been looking for things (of value) here in the area and also in our garden. That's why we swear by cameras and deterrence. We currently have 6 installed across the property. One side of the house, one in the garage and one that monitors the garden.
