AFTER TRYING MORE EXPENSIVE CAMERAS, I FOUND THAT SOME EITHER HAD A CONFUSING APP OR NEEDED A SUBSCRIPTION TO SAVE VIDEO CONTENT. NOT WITH THIS CAMERA — YOU CAN CHOOSE CLOUD OR INSTALL YOUR OWN MICRO SD CARD FOR VIDEO FILES THAT WILL BE SAVED AS 5 MINUTE CLIPS IN MP4, TIME AND DATE STAMPED SO THEY TRANSFER EASILY TO YOUR MAC/PC AND BROWSE THE FOOTAGE IN REAL TIME INSTEAD OF STREAMING (THIS CAN BE TIDY IF THE INTERNET CONNECTION IS POOR). WATCHING FILM MATERIAL AT HOME OR IN ANOTHER COUNTRY FROM YOUR MOBILE DEVICE IS EASY AND THE APP ALLOWS MULTIPLE CAMERAS OF THE SAME BRAND/DIFFERENT MODELS. THE PTZ ROTATION MECHANISM SEEMS TO BE ROBUST AFTER 8 MONTHS. IMAGE QUALITY IS GOOD WITH NIGHT INFRARED OR COLOR NIGHT MODE OPTIONS VIA THE BUILT-IN LED AND COMES WITH CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, ALL RELEVANT BRACKETS, SCREWS AND A POWER PLUG. IF YOU MOUNT IT OUTDOORS AND YOUR POWER SUPPLY IS FAR AWAY, THE CABLE COULD BE CONSIDERED SLIGHTLY SHORT BUT I AM SURE THERE ARE WAYS TO EXTEND THE CABLE. THE CABLE IS PERMANENTLY CONNECTED TO THE DEVICE. REMEMBER THIS IF CURRENT RANGE IS A PROBLEM. I STILL HAVE TO TRY THE CAMERA OUTSIDE... TBC. FINALLY, THE FREE APP THAT'S INCLUDED: YOU CAN OPEN THE APP WITHOUT WHATEVER ADS HAMMED BEFORE USING ANY OF ITS FEATURES. HOPE IT STAYS THAT WAY!.. I HAVE 6 SECURITY CAMERAS OF THIS BRAND USING THE SAME APP SO I CAN SWIP BETWEEN ALL THE CAMERAS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. ADDITIONAL CAMERA INFORMATION CAN BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST IF NECESSARY.

I'm constantly taking trips out of town and have rabbits on the balcony that I can't do without without seeing them. I bought it for her and I am very happy to recommend it to everyone. The installation is quite easy I was also able to connect to the internet but I preferred the SIM card 3 months internet access I think was 23 euros. If I'm satisfied, I buy it online for a year.
excellent

personally feel safer if my house is guarded when I'm not there. I also find it reassuring that I always know what is happening in and around the house. I feel a little safer then. For this purpose, I wanted a camera that also takes satisfactory pictures in the dark, since there is a lot of darkness in winter. I found that this camera is well suited for this use. The camera looks like the photos. It's not too big so it's too noticeable on my door, but it's still visible so everyone knows they're being recorded. That alone can make a big difference when it comes to security. The camera is made of metal and shouldn't cause any problems in wind and weather. So far this has been the case for me too and the camera has withstood all weather conditions. Before attaching the camera, you should first connect and set it up with the app. I can imagine the process being made more difficult when the camera is already mounted outside. To do this, you first have to download the app using the QR code. With the app itself you have to register first, which I personally find a bit exhausting. Once registered, you can then connect the app to your device, which worked flawlessly and quickly for me. After that I was able to try out the camera. The picture is really great, I definitely don't need more. I can rotate the camera manually and I can talk through the app. The sound, even coming out of the camera, is crisp and clear. That's great too. When you see something you want to capture, you can either take a picture or a screenshot. This happens without much delay, so that you can really capture what you want. Motion detection is also important to me. The app always notifies me when it detects motion. Here you can also set how sensitive the camera should react to movement, in which period of time you want to record movements and in which zone. I find that really successful here. You can do the same thing with sound detection. Overall I think the camera is solid. It works well, the picture is great and it has many features.
Good surveillance camera

4G cameras don't usually hold a signal, NOT this one. NOT a cheap plastic camera toy, it's an important part of a no wifi security plan. The mounting bracket and solar panel are excellent, as is the battery life. Very easy to set up. Don't buy a cheaper version, this one has great PTZ. Good sound quality. The app is reliable and free. With a small annual fee, you get a year of cloud service. I'm about to start the second one.
High-quality workmanship and excellent image and video quality

The K&F Concept KF50.0009AEU is an outdoor security camera with full control over a wireless connection. It is powered by an internal lithium battery that can be charged with the included solar panel. The lens mount is motorized, allowing remote control of horizontal and vertical movements, as well as zooming in and out. The integrated power source offers a degree of independence when choosing the location of the camera. I placed our sample on a post in the yard, quite high up, and pointed at the lawn to record wildlife, especially at night. The plastic bracket is simply attached with the supplied screws. Masonry requires the use of a drill and dowels (preferably better ones than the cheap examples in the kit). I similarly mounted the solar panel under the camera, using the swivel mount to set it pointing slightly up to harvest as much sunlight as possible. It could be placed away from the camera. The 3-meter line offers a lot of flexibility in this regard. It connects to a USB-C socket underneath the device. An alternative power source could potentially be used when sunlight is scarce but the body of the plug is a bit too small and the socket is rubber encased to keep moisture out so a suitable cord is needed. It's pretty normal for this type of device. I would have liked to use the camera via PC, but it doesn't support Windows. The only option is to use the android app in an emulator or maybe use a windows program with multiple factory cameras. This requires some knowledge and effort, and the camera may need to be set up in the manufacturer's app first to get the necessary details. The camera can be set up with either a sound signal or a QR code. I had trouble with the former, but the QR code worked right away. The textbook clearly took some effort, but some of the English language is hard to follow. The camera has all the typical features that appear in the list. The app is fairly easy to navigate, but not perfect. Recordings can be viewed after a short connection delay. They can be stored on an SD card in the camera or in the cloud (requires subscription after free trial). The recording quality is very satisfactory and I found this camera generally capable. I'm still trying to line up shots longer than a few seconds and the battery doesn't last the night at this time of year. It could be better in a security setting where it doesn't trigger and isn't accessed as frequently.
Outdoor 4G LTE Security Camera A solid performer with an integrated power source.

An external solar powered camera suitable for setting up and monitoring your property, especially outdoors. The camera allows you to connect via 4G Sim card. It is solar powered via a separate solar panel with a 3M cable, allowing it to be located away from the camera's location. This allows you to locate the panel to get the maximum sunlight it needs. It features 355 degree pan and tilt view, headlight, PIR motion sensor, super HD night vision and is compatible with 2-way trekking. It is also waterproof up to IP66. However, please note that you must place it where it will receive maximum sunlight to keep it charged and give it enough energy to function even in winter. The camera is operated via the "uBox" app and has cloud and micro SD card, secure storage and remote access. It supports up to a 128GB SD card although it doesn't include it which is a shame but they're cheap enough these days which makes me always wonder why they don't include one, maybe it's to trick you into buying the cloud - Buy memory. You can also charge it via USB, especially handy for the winter months when the sun might not be strong enough to fully charge the camera. I wanted this camera to keep an eye on my garden area as it is difficult to locate power cables on an outside wall without drilling large holes. This solar array will hopefully be the answer when our winters allow it to be sufficiently charged. I have a garden that faces east/west so it tracks the sun all day and I believe it charges even on the cloudiest of days. I'll report back now that summer seems to be over and let you know if the batteries are sufficiently charged. But as mentioned, you have the option of USB charging from either a power bank or other mobile source, but I may upgrade when winter comes. The camera and panel were easy to assemble with the screws provided. The camera is easy to use, via the app on your phone or pad, even remotely. A great, solidly built kit that hopefully is as reliable as it looks. I would be happy to recommend it.

We just placed this camera in my parents' driveway a few days ago and so far I'm very impressed with this little camera! It came in a tiny box packed with the solar panel, all the necessary cables and mounting hardware, and a comprehensive user manual. Setting up the camera was extremely easy and we were able to mount it beautifully in under an hour. After the camera was mounted, we downloaded the UBox app from the App Store. The app showed how to set up the camera with simple step-by-step instructions. Within 10 minutes we moved the camera with the joystick and changed the motion detection settings. We were very impressed with the image quality, the camera is as good as a smartphone and the wide-angle lens covers a lot, so overall we're very happy with it. Even at night, although black and white, the image quality seems to remain just as sharp with the infrared camera. I put a 16GB microSD card in the camera so it can store the footage. It's been running for a few days and has only used about 400MB of memory. I think it uses a very efficient video encoding format. There is also an option to save the videos in the cloud, I activated the 7-day trial, we'll see if I end up subscribing, but it would definitely make me a lot safer to have a backup of all the recordings in the Having cloud instead of just on the camera itself! Overall I think this is an excellent package, the image quality is very impressive, the application has all the features you will ever need and the motion detection works flawlessly. The two-way audio is also a handy plus that we'll be using a lot!

already have several security cameras that are powered off via a hole drilled through the wall, but I wanted a camera in the back of our house and the only mounting location that would do the right recording area is not to have a power source available so I needed a fully wireless camera as this came complete with a solar panel which reduces the number of charges required which I ordered. When opened, this security camera kit comes with everything needed to install it on a wall, post or fence. The main camera is a separate unit from the solar panel. If the camera is shaded, the solar panel can still be positioned on its own mount facing the sun. A small cable connects the two units. Build quality is about average so I would put this in the range of a budget camera that says it's waterproof so it can be used all year round. I cannot comment on value for money as this is listed as unavailable at the time of writing. I would recommend doing a full charge via the USB cable before attaching and setting up. Then the solar panel should help maintain the battery level depending on the position and the number of sunny days. I've found that the solar panel doesn't work at all on cloudy days, so a lot depends on where you live and if it's south facing. Once the camera has been powered on, it can be paired and set up in the free app that can be downloaded onto a smart device. I had no problems pairing at all, although I did this before taking the camera outside to be mounted so it was close to my router and phone. That way I would recommend it. As this is a battery powered camera, many of the normal options that come standard with an AC adapter are not available. Most of these are designed to increase the amount of time between charges. The main feature not available on a battery camera is the ability to take steady shots, which is understandable as that would drain the power pretty quickly. The recordings for this are all made from the motion sensor which, when triggered, will start recording for a set time. Movement and recording times, as well as various other options, can be accessed through the app. I always prefer recording locally to the cloud, so I fitted a 128GB SD card and formatted it ready for use. If required, this provides the option for cloud recording at a low monthly cost. Since this is a PTZ camera, it can be panned and tilted in any useful direction from the smart device. The image can also be zoomed but I find the quality drops so I wouldn't normally use it. Overall this is a very nice budget security camera kit with the added benefit of including a solar panel which reduces the number of charges. This must be taken into account when comparing prices. The HD picture is at 1080p and streams without too many hiccups, this depends on the router setup of roughly. Along with a fairly decent daytime image, this also has an automatic night mode using infrared, which again is clear enough to be able to spot identifying features if needed. I found this to be far better than some other budget cameras I've used that could only see at night what I could see looked like blurry ghosts lol. If you can't run from mains power or just need the convenience of a cordless option, you can't go wrong with this set. However, I will say that a mesh option is always the best way to go, if at all possible.
