This gimbal is a heavy duty precise made machine. It's made of quality materials and everything fits like a glove. The swing arm has smooth rocking motion and the lock lever keeps it in place at the angle you set it to. It has very clear markings so you can remember the settings the next time you use it. For the price this is a great value.

I love this Gimbal and would have given it a 5 star rating instead of a 3, if only the quick release plate was not missing. There is nothing that irritates me more than missing parts when I order an item. NOTICE: I raised my rating to 5 stars because the company contacted me and shipped me the quick release plate that should have been in the package. It means a lot when a company makes things right with their products and this one did! I would recommend this gimbal to anyone who needs one!

It is steady, solid made, big enough for Nikon Z 6/7 cameras, durable and accurate.

This is for the Upgraded Gimbal Head.
I'm astonished how good the construction, fit, and finish was on such an inexpensive gimbal head. I bought mine in the fall, with the intention of using it in Winter for wildlife photography. I'm not sure if it was because the weather was cold, but the grease in the Pan bearing was insanely stiff, and required me to hold the tripod with one hand while rotating the camera with the other, and even then it was stiff enough that I worried about damaging the bayonet mount on my lens from the torsion.
The solution was to remove the rubber pad on the very bottom of the gimbal, which hides three small screws. Remove those screws, pop of the cover, and then you'll have access to the bearing with its very thick grease. I removed about 70% of the grease and then reassembled. It helped tremendously, and I can now pan without having to brace the tripod.
It's still winter, so I'm not sure if it'll be too loose once the grease warms up in the summer, but if so, I'll just add some grease back in.
In any case, this is a great gimbal head for the money!
