What I Hear No matter how good the lens filter is you will still have to deal with reflection. but the anti-reflection coating on it helps.. and it doesn't happen that often..

It's not bad, very good actually but theres a faint line. It's not noticeable to normal viewers but I'm a photographer so little flaws stand out like someone wearing white at a funeral. I say get it, it's great for its price.

This item is extremely high quality and it doesn’t have any traces of cross hatching that most VNDs suffer from.

This photo was taken on a super bright high cloud cover day in Southeast Alaska. There’s no way I could have soften the river without this quality filter. I’ve been hesitant on variable ND filters for a long time because the good ones were always way to expensive. This one proved me wrong.

I bought this adjustable ND filter to use on my Canon EF lenses during my trip to Iceland. It worked beautifully and allowed me to capture some beautiful landscapes!

I tried several of these type of variable filters. All exhibited horrible image artifacts, making the footage unusable on wider lenses. There are several VERY expensive ones promising no artifacts. They all have limited range, just like the K&F Concept Fader ND. This one really works. For the higher range, some make you buy another $300+ fader, which I believe consists of one ND polarizer and another clear one. I am cheap, so I put another MRC coated ND, to extend the range. It works great as far as I can tell. I don't have to drag (and field change) multiple ND filters. As far as the size goes, unfortunately, the iPhone image stabilization cause very bad vignetting with the wide lens, so I had to use large diameter fader. I could balance it all on the Snoppa Atom with minimum of counterweights.
