I am sadly unable to have this fitted in time to write my review but I have been able to inspect it with care and for the price (now 50% off), well, it's amazingly well made. I've tried 2 other cameras before, but this is by far the best.

The image quality is very good, even in the rain or at night; license plates and street signs can be easily recognized.

The camera goes into recording mode without any problem as soon as I start the engine. If the engine is off, the parking monitoring comes on, which also works very well.

So far I'm very satisfied, but I'll let you know if that's no longer the case.

I bought the camera because it already had good reviews. I regularly travel on highways and have suffered from vandalism twice. I also travel off-road in my free time (agriculture and forestry), although unfortunately not all people are "nice" encounters.
The camera records all actions very well in the front wide angle area, but unfortunately a little less in the rear, hence the star deduction.
Excellent license plate recognition, gestures from other drivers and since it also records your own speed with GPS, controversial situations can be easily understood.

As far as I'm concerned, the camera "earned" its money. Got the camera on December 8th. received and set up straight away. That was very easy. The next day I attached it to the windshield and tested it while driving to the store. The next day I drove to Berlin, where it was in use throughout the entire trip. It was also used for surveillance in the parking garage. everything without problems. After returning home, I looked at the pictures I took on the computer. It took a long time to download, but I was even more impressed with the quality of the images. I have to say, I don't understand some of the bad reviews at all. The camera is absolutely recommended!!

I bought this dashcam based on positive experiences from friends who have had it in their vehicle for a long time. Installation was very easy (for now). I now have it connected to a power bank via USB. Of course, you can also operate it using the cigarette lighter while driving, but since it doesn't provide electricity at night, this is not possible with the night-time parking control. I will have the dash cam connected to the power grid so that the dash cam can also be supplied with power at night. The picture quality and the sound quality are impeccable from what I can judge over the last 2 days and nights. The menu navigation is simple and easy to understand even for non-technical people like me. The only thing I could complain about would be that you can't easily control the dashcam via an app. You just have to attach the cam to the PC or remove the memory card. But hanging the cam on the PC to watch the films in large format (which you could also do via the small display on the cam) is really simple and easy. I'm glad I chose this cam and would do so again and again. Absolute purchase recommendation. Of course, I hope that I never need the recordings for an emergency, but I just drive with the camera more calmly so that I am prepared for a dispute.
