The original filter was faulty with dust and lint between the 2 pieces of glass. I received excellent customer service from the seller and the issue was dealt with very professionally.

I was finally able to get out and test the lens with my Sony wide angle. It was overcast today, and this filter did a beautiful job, considering the bad lighting. I even took the same photos, with another filter that I paid double for, and no difference in the quality. It also comes with its own leather case, which I love. It keeps the lens protected and easy to carry in my knapsack.

This is a dream to use, the putter makes it easy to adjust the stops and it is on the left side, where it should be. With the lock system, I don't have to worry about over extending, each stop is easy to adjust to. I am not a professional, just a hobby photographer, but this filter makes it easy enough to take stunning photos of landscapes and waterfalls.

I tested the K&F Concept ND filter, comparing it to the one I usually use. My current one leaned more toward a blue tint with the K&F Concept ND looking slightly greener. However, the green tint was a little more realistic to the weather conditions that day. The K&F Concept ND filter did make photos a touch softer than my current ND filter.

The ability to switch between stops using the same ND filter is incredibly convenient, and I had no problems using it while shooting in non-ideal conditions.

The ND filter also comes packaged very nicely and felt like a nice quality piece of glass. The included case made it very handy to pop inside my camera bag and still feel like it was protected.

I feel very confident recommending this product to both amateur photographers and professionals.

I am rarely let down by K&F filters and this one is equally as gorgeous. The build quality is fantastic and the toggle allows you to easily use the filter even if you’re wearing gloves. This is a precision CNC machine to aluminum frame that moves incredibly smoothly. The variable density transition smoothly without visual artifacts and that’s the most important part.

I would prefer brass of course and I think these days filters need to be magnetic. The days of spending hours screwing in unscrewing filters into your camera no longer need to be necessary. But for the quality of the filter and the price I’m still going to give it five stars.

Even though I have a ND filter I opted to get this due to the the orange lever to rotate through the density stops. When using my other one with no defined stops it was easy to end up accidently unscrewing it off the lens. This little "nub" makes for much better use of the filter with smooth rotation and stops at each end. I have not had this one long enough for a full test but having a couple other of their filters I find them as good or better than any I have used. Even though I have still have some German made filters K&F is now my choice for my filter needs. They are meticulously crafted and beautifully presented.

I bought this filter primarily for videography, where I usually film according to the 180-degree rule. This means that in order to obtain a cinematic video image with a certain amount of motion blur in individual frames, you film with a shutter speed that is equal to 1 divided by twice the number of frames. If I film at 50fps, for example, I therefore need an exposure time of 1/100s, which is not possible without an ND filter, especially in the wide angle range when the sun is shining.

The filter is also suitable for photography, even if only to a limited extent, as greater darkening is often required in certain situations. When I want to produce soft water on a stream in bright sunshine, I often travel with filters beyond ND1000, as well as when I want to show a busy area deserted of people.

But as I said, that is also very special and in my case this is about videography. The filter is intended for my 100-300mm MFT lens, which I usually use to take wildlife pictures. In the test, the filter shows no weaknesses. As a result, I was unable to identify any color cast and an X-Cross effect did not occur either. The promised effect of up to 5 f-stops is kept. Top!

The filter comes in a synthetic leather case with magnetic closure and an “removal aid” in the form of an integrated ribbon so that you do not accidentally touch the glass when removing the filter. The bag also has a magnetic closure.

The filter itself weighs 43g (reweighed) and runs very smoothly with appealing resistance over all aperture levels. Thanks to the adjustment aid, you can of course no longer use a rigid lens hood, but you can also remove the adjustment aid if the appropriate tools are available.

Technically speaking, this filter, which is the “little brother” of the Nano-X Pro, is therefore also extremely high-quality at a third of the price. The Nano-X Pro series is, however, a bit higher quality in terms of frame and coating.

The price-performance ratio is great.

Last but not least, I received the product free of charge as a Vine product tester, but this has no effect on my review. I also only test things that I can usefully use myself and integrate into my everyday life.

The K&F Concept Nano-X True Color Variable ND Filter Neutral Density Filter ND2-32 is relatively weak because other filters go up to ND1000. But of course, it has a fine gradation at the bottom. I tested it on running water and that in strong sunshine. This was then only possible manually at aperture 8-11 and a slower shutter speed. But I also have to admit that I'm not the professional and I don't know all the tricks. In addition, there is hardly any flowing water in my area that can be allowed to flow smoothly with such a filter. I live in the lowlands. This filter has 1-5 stops. From the same manufacturer, there is also a filter with 1.5-10 f-stops, which is even slightly cheaper. That would be the K&F Concept Nano X-series Variable ND Filter ND3-ND1000 gray filter. I would rather use it for strong sunshine. This one is quite okay for German bad weather, i.e. when it is cloudy.

The ND2-32 neutral density filter comes in a very practical leather case. There is a ribbon on the side, which helps to eject the filter. The clasp is magnetic. The adjustment of the filter is smooth and simple. I use a Canon EOS M10 with a UV filter. This filter could be easily attached to it. Only the cover cap (lens cap) then no longer fits on.

Conclusion: The quality seems very good to me and the filter does what it should. I can't say whether yellowing is prevented, as I lack the knowledge here. The product makes a very good and professional impression on me.

Hope my review was useful.

Why an ND filter?

An ND filter (gray filter or neutral density filter) ensures that less light reaches the camera sensor. As a result, it is necessary to expose for longer periods of time. To do this, you have to open the aperture wider or increase the ISO so that the image is not too dark.

Variable ND filters are primarily used when filming, as long exposure times must be used there. In order to have the right exposure at all times, it is important that you can adjust the ND filter.
But ND filters are also used in landscape photography, in particular for long-term photography in daylight, e.g. at a waterfall, sea or lake. Passing clouds can also be drawn softly with the help of the ND filter.
In very bright lighting conditions, such as in snow or in the blazing midday sun, a weak ND filter can be useful, especially if you use a lens with a very large aperture.

The K&F Concept Nano-X True Color Variable ND Filter 77mm neutral density filter ND2-32

The filter is manufactured to a high quality and packaged in a leather case with magnetic closure. This variable ND filter has 5 ND filters,

so to speak! You normally pay between 70 and 100 euros per high-quality ND filter! This variable ND filter is very practical and space-saving, as you only need to have one filter with you and can still cover a small range with it. This ND filter can dim the light in 5 steps.

ℹ️ At the edge of the adjustable filter, there are 5 points, the larger the points are, the darker you can adjust your image.

The coating technology used ensures that the natural colors of the motif are faithfully reproduced, and thus prevents the usual yellowing of cheaper ND filters.

⚠️ Please do not screw the filter so firmly onto the lens, otherwise there will be problems with unscrewing it!

Clear purchase recommendation and 5 stars from me.
